embers of the Jaffray and Baynes Lake Fire departments responded to the scene of a structure fire in Jaffray Tuesday, February 25. Approximately 10 firefighters attended to the scene just after 1 pm. “When we arrived, we found a large workshop completely engulfed
in flames,” said Jaffray Baynes Lake Fire Chief Dave Boreen. “This was a really fast moving fire and our efforts focused on protecting the nearby garage and RV trailer to prevent further losses.” “The crew did a great job yesterday and their efforts helped prevent this fire from having a much larger impact,” added Boreen. The blaze was contained to the workshop, which is a total loss. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
