ith ample access to parks, attractions, and seaside exploration, Sidney, BC is showing itself to be a fantastic place for families to visit and to live. There’s no better example of that family-friendly environment than the Sidney Family Day LEGO Weekend, taking place on February 8-10. On the heels of the wildly fun and successful 2013 Sidney Family Day LEGO event, this year a number of community organizations and businesses are teaming up for a full three day weekend of Sidney Family Day LEGO fun! This year’s event has also partnered with the Sidney Fire Department, in recognition of their 100th Anniversary. LEGO displays, interactive building opportunities, a treasure hunt, and a professional LEGO builder are just some of the reasons to spend time in Sidney for the 2014 Sidney Family Day LEGO Weekend. Due to overwhelming attendance in 2013, this year’s event takes place over three days, and in a variety of venues throughout town. There will be so much more to see, and to build!
