Sincerely,

in retirement, Dave Holmberg has always been a champion of our community and particularly of local business. MSA Ford is happy to have had the Holmberg family as customers for many years. Throughout the past 35 years Dave’s loyalty not only saw his company purchase trucks from us, but most of his family’s personal vehicles as well. Dave’s love of Ford vehicles even extended to the classics . . . an orange ’64-and-ahalf’ Mustang graced his garage not so long ago. Dave’s loyalty to our Ford vehicles was also rewarded when he won a new Ford Expedition at MSA Ford.

We need your support to complete the Holmberg House ALLAN ASAPH Executive Director Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce We are on the brink of the most dramatic population shift in Canada’s history as the proportion of elderly residents and cancer patients continues to grow, especially in our region. Families in our community are desperately in need of compassionate palliative care options. Hospice care wraps families in compassionate, loving support and provides bereavement support and aftercare. The time for additional hospice services is now!

TINA STEWART Executive Director Abbotsford Downtown Business Association Holmberg House will provide much needed dignity and comfort close to home to members of our community who are dying or grieving. A time of caring and compassion instead of fear and anxiety. Please give to Abbotsford Hospice Society.

TRICIA DUMOUCHEL Marketing Director Sevenoaks Shopping Centre What a privilege it is to have a world-class facility built right here in Abbotsford. An adult hospice residence provides families with what they need most at a very difficult stage of everyone’s life. End-of-life is something we can relate to and what an opportunity it is to give, support and honour Abbotsford families through Holmberg House support and aftercare. The time for additional hospice services is now!

DEB LOWELL Public Relations Director Salvation Army My family cared for my father-in-law in our home for many years. Some said ‘he lost the battle’ but that is not true. He taught us how to fight and how to die, just as he’d taught us how to live, to cherish every minute, that even in the midst of life’s most excruciating moments, there is still room for joy and hope and DQ ice cream. Holmberg House will offer; a community of support and compassion offering joy and hope in the middle of life’s most difficult circumstances.

ANDREW FRANKLIN Publisher Abbotsford News & Mission Record It is a distinct honour to play a role in the key marketing partnership of Holmberg House. Our city needs and deserves a hospice residence. Now is the time for us all to assist and see the completion of the construction. On behalf of The News staff, I would like to thank and acknowledge the staff and board for their leadership of Abbotsford Hospice.

JANNA DIELEMAN Manager, Donor & Community Relations Abbotsford Community Services Abbotsford Community Services appreciates the commitment of the Abbotsford Hospice Society, started in the late 1980s by a group of dedicated volunteers. The Abbotsford Hospice Society has become an essential service in our community for those who are terminally ill and experiencing grief. The next step is to provide a live-in hospice facility as presently, patients and families are being served by other communities.

A huge THANK YOU to the people and organizations who participated in our DRIVE ONE Events! With your support we have raised

$

249,500 over the past 4 years.

MSA Ford is proud to have been recognized by Ford Motor Company as having raised the most monies and facilitating the most Drive One events, more than any other Ford dealer in Canada! We are very proud of this achievement and know this feat would not

have been possible without our Drive One event staff, combined with our amazing community partners! Enriching the lives of our fellow citizens and local organizations has been incredibly humbling to our entire MSA team.

We look forward to a very successful 2014 and ask the community to contribute in any way to the Campus of Care.
