The Off Centre Players would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported their most recent production, “A Seussified Christmas Carol”. For the first time in the company’s history, this show sold out before opening night. Along with faithful local supporters, guests came from Cranbrook, Calgary, Vancouver, Nelson and as far away as California. An extra thank you to Green Door Catering Company for providing a magical dinner buffet pre-show. And as always, thank you to Kimberley Arts Council and Centre 64 for supporting arts and culture in our community. Coming up next are open auditions for the next show (on stage at Centre 64, February 11-15, 2014). This audition will take place on Sunday, December 1 from 2 to -4 p.m. at the Green Door in the Kimberley Platzl. No experience is required - just a love of theatre! The Players are not only looking for actors of all kinds, but also anyone interested in helping with costumes, set building, painting, lights and sound and stage managing. For more information, please contact the Off Centre Players on their Facebook page or call 250-908-1508.
