It is a tradition on the last weekend in September, going back many years. It’s the Kimberley Community Fall Fair, and as al-
ways is shaping up to be a not-tobe-missed event. City Councillor and head of the Fair’s organizing committee Bev Middlebrook says the 2013 fair is looking to be every bit as successful as year’s past. “As always, we will sell booths right up until the last minute,” Middlebrook said. See Page 5

Police are requesting the assistance from the community in identifying a male suspect in a stabbing that occurred in Cranbrook on June 16, 2013. 2013 Cranbrook RCMP responded to a report of a double stabbing in the area of 17th Avenue and 8th Street North, Cranbrook. Investigation revealed 2 Cranbrook residents were walking in the area when they were approached by an unknown male who accused them of property crime in the area. The unknown male became increasingly belligerent leading to an unprovoked attack on both victims.
