Why Practice Yoga? Through self knowledge and the simple awareness of how our thoughts, actions and deeds affect everything as a whole, I feel we can simplify our lives, taking responsibility for our own happiness. The practice of yoga is a wonderful tool to access moments of freedom and liberation. I want to help guide people into their own personal journey of self love, self knowledge and liberation into many moments of happiness. (Instructor Kimberly Olson)
Class Descriptions Rise and Shine Morning Flow Nurture the fire within the rhythmic movements of Ashtanga Yoga. Align your body breath and spirit to cultivate your own personal power expressing it through the beauty of your body – your temple. Salute the sun-salute yourself. It’s time to acknowledge your own potential. Après Ski Unwind after a tough day in the mountains. Send your hips and legs a little love so you can head straight back to the hills tomorrow. Class will begin with a gentle flow of hip openers and leg stretches and will finish with a healthy drizzle of restorative yoga. Mmmmmmmm decadent. Sweet Like Honey Hatha Leave the sticky behind and surrender into the sweetness of this beautiful practice. Unfold into the depths of your practice, live beyond the limits of the mind and cultivate the courage to look inside yourself. Learn to flow with that sweet honey river of life instead of fighting it. Kim’s teaching style I take the knowledge and insight I have gained through the journey of my personal practice, and render into my teaching so the knowledge or truths that I share are genuine through my own experience. The sequence of my class may vary in accordance with my students needs. My classes are accessible for beginners while also challenging for intermediate/advanced students .
