The Oval’s First Aid and CPR courses are taught by LifeLink instructors who are certified through the Lifesaving Society or Red Cross. Courses offered include: • Standard First Aid & Recertification • Emergency First Aid • CPR-C and Recertification

Iyengar Yoga This accessible style of yoga is suitable for all levels of fitness. Discover how Iyengar Yoga can help improve postural alignment, stamina, strength, balance and coordination. *Classes Wednesday evenings 5:15-6:45pm.

The Richmond Oval offers fitness leadership courses designed for individuals interested in becoming fitness professionals. As leaders in the fitness industry, our courses are taught by qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced instructors.

Personal Training

The next Fitness Theory course starts October, 2013.

TRX® Suspension Training The TRX® Suspension Trainer is a strength conditioning system that uses gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. Increase your core strength, endurance and functional mobility. Classes include: • TRX® Core Circuit – Take your core training to the next level. • TRX® Factor – A full body workout that combines strength and cardio exercises. • Pilates TRX® - An innovative blend of Reformer and TRX® training. Walk taller, feel stronger, perform better!

Regardless of your age, or fitness level, anyone can experience the benefits of regular physical activity. If you are ready to make a change for the better, the trainers at the Oval are ready to provide you with the guidance and motivation needed to help you realize strength you didn’t know you had. Packages include: • 3 – 50 1hr Sessions • Corrective Exercise & Reconditioning • TRX® Small Group Training

Kinesis™ Active Aging (55+) Using the state-of-the-art Kinesis™ equipment, this class will recondition and develop strength, balance, joint mobility and muscle range of motion using movements that simulate everyday activities. *Classes Tuesdays 11:00-11:45am.

*Day and evening classes available.

Pilates Reformer A full body workout performed on specialized equipment called a “Reformer”. Suitable for all levels of fitness, Reformer training is a great way to increase core strength and flexibility, and improve posture and muscular endurance. *Day and evening classes available.
