Maintenance Technicians and Operating Technicians are compensated on the Technician Progression system, an “earn as you learn” program that promotes self-driven succession with higher pay scales for ticketed and dual-ticketed personnel. 2nd and 3rd Class Power Engineers will receive premiums for 2nd Class papers and tickets. 3rd Class Operators with control panel competency will also be compensated.
