Prolific offender Dave Yaroslawsky had accumulated so much stolen property in early 2012 that he had rented a storage locker in Aldergrove to stash it. When police arrested him in Langley that March, he had also stored numerous items in his vehicle and in the Langley motel room where he was hiding out. For that, Yaroslawksy deserves a jail term of five to six years, Crown counsel Jas Gahunia recommended Wednesday in B.C. Supreme

Court in New Westminster during the start of Yaroslawsky’s sentencing hearing. The Surrey man, 31, previously pleaded guilty to 32 counts related to items stolen mainly from homes in Abbotsford, Surrey, Langley, Hope and Chilliwack in early 2012. These offences included numerous counts of possession of stolen property, using a stolen credit card, possessing stolen ID, and two weapons charges. Yaroslawsky was originally charged with almost 60 offences, but did not plead guilty to any of the multiple break-and-enter counts

he faced, claiming he was a “fence” for the stolen property and was not involved in the break-ins. Gahunia detailed a long list of residences that experienced break-ins and which had items stolen that were later found in Yaroslawsky’s possession. These objects included cameras, computers, iPods, TVs and other electronics; car and house keys; jewelry; cash; prescription drugs; and various forms of ID, including passports,

Man pinned between two vehicles Victim sustained serious injuries to legs

A man was pinned between two vehicles while working to change the advertisements on a bus stop bench on Wednesday afternoon. Abbotsford Police, Fire Rescue Services and ambulance services responded to the accident at the corner of Old Yale Road and Sunnyside Street. At about 12:20, a man was stopped in front of a bus bench. Police say the driver got out of his vehicle and went to the back in order to change the advertisements on the bench. A second driver, driving a van eastbound, allegedly rear ended the stopped vehicle, pinning the man between the vehicles. The victim managed to free himself, but Const. Ian MacDonald said the man went

The expression “put a bug in your ear” took on a literal meaning for an Abbotsford man early Monday morning. Abbotsford Police were called to a central Abbotsford home at about 3 a.m. after neighbours reported hearing yelling and screaming. Const. Ian MacDonald said officers dispatched to the scene were expecting to encounter a domestic

dispute, but they discovered something entirely different when they arrived. The source of the commotion was a man in his 30s who had been sitting outside on the balmy evening when a bug had flown into his ear. MacDonald said the man’s girlfriend had inserted a straw in his ear and was attempting to suck out the bug. The incident ended with the man driving himself to hospital. It is not know what kind of bug was involved.

The Abbotsford Hospice Society’s (AHS) recent Charity Golf Tournament raised a record $75,000. The funds for the event held July 15 at the Falls Golf Club in Chilliwack were raised through registrations, sponsors and activities, but a recordbreaking $25,000 came from the live auction. The tournament was presented by Mainland Sand and Gravel. Another $75,000 was donated in-kind, including $20,000 in food and beverage donations – from Coast Seafoods, Commerce for Cause, BC Fresh Vegetables and Gelderman Farms – and $8,700 in rentals from Salmon’s Rentals. Funds from the event will go toward AHS, with a portion earmarked for Holmberg House, an adult hospice under construction at the Campus of Care project next to Abbotsford Regional Hospital. AHS provides support to people who are dying and to their families. Local residents, councillors and city staff gathered in Gobind Park on Thursday morning for the grand opening of the park’s new picnic shelter. The shelter was erected after the Gobind Park Senior’s Society appealed to council to create a larger structure in the popular community park. The park – named after a Sikh Guru – is located at the corner of Sandpiper Drive and Quail Court. The project was supported by the city and came far under budget, costing about $30,000 as compared to the original estimate of around $60,000. Keith Senft of the parks and recreation department said the cost savings were achieved

by using a local business to design the structure’s frame instead of purchasing a ready-made shelter. Coun. Moe Gill said the park has been in development for years. It began with swings and a playground for children, and two small shelters. The community wanted a larger structure in order to provide space for about 50 people. That will allow large groups to gather and spend time together in the park. “This is a big success for us as a city, working with the neighbourhood.” Mayor Bruce Banman cut the ribbon at the ceremony and said it was an honour to see the project finished, and it took “innovative thinking” to complete the project under budget.

Care Cards, social insurance cards, and credit cards. One of the break-ins involved a Fido store in Surrey in which two men stole $500 cash, cellphones and SIM cards. Three guns were also pilfered in two separate thefts – one from a vehicle and the other from a home. In several of the break-ins, the suspects urinated on the floors and furniture. The first key piece of evidence arose from a Chilliwack robbery on Feb. 23, 2012, when an 83-year-old woman arrived home to find an unfamiliar green Chevy Blazer in her driveway. Two men dressed in dark clothing rushed past her as she stepped into her kitchen, and fled in the Blazer. The vehicle was captured on a neighbour’s video surveillance camera, and images of the truck were released through the media. The Blazer was registered to Yaroslawsky. The following month, police received a call from staff at the Super 8 Motel on Glover Road in Langley who became suspicious when Yaroslawsky checked in but refused to register his vehicle’s licence plate and asked whether he could use a back door to transfer possessions to his room. A second man later joined Yaroslawsky. When police arrived, they discovered a Chevy Blazer in the parking lot that matched the one that had been seen at the Chilliwack robbery. Yaroslawsky and the other man attempted to

leave through a window, but retreated to their room when they saw police. They did not leave the room until two hours later, at which point they were arrested. Warrants were obtained by police to search the hotel room, the Blazer and a storage locker for which they found a rental agreement in Yaroslawsky’s vehicle. All three locations turned up hundreds of items – including three loaded guns hidden in a maintenance panel in the hotel room bathroom – that had previously been reported stolen. The storage locker, rented in Yaroslawsky’s name, was packed with objects that included five flat-screen TVs. Yarowslasky had also been caught on video surveillance at a gas station using a bank card just hours after it had been stolen and on which he had purchased more than $1,200 worth of goods. Gahunia asked the judge, in reaching a sentencing decision, to consider that Yaroslawsky has a criminal history dating back to 1995 – when he was 13 – and has 46 prior convictions for crimes such as assault, break and enter, and drug possession and trafficking. He was on probation at the time of his arrest in Langley. The defence’s submission and the judge’s decision on sentencing have not yet been made. The matter is next scheduled for Nov. 1. Co-accused Ivan Logan Johnson of New Westminster faces almost 60 charges and is next scheduled to appear in Surrey provincial court on Sept. 6.

RAF crew in training at 5 OTU Abbotsford 1945. No. 24 Elementary Flying Training School. No. 24 EFTS was the fourth and last school sponsored by the Vancouver Air Training Co. Ltd. – a civilian school set up by the Aero Club of B.C. under the guidance of the RCAF. 24 EFTS was tasked with the basic flying training for students who would then need to go to a Service Flying Training School (SFTS) before receiving their pilots’ wings. The second school was established on the very day the EFTS was disbanded (July 15, 1944). The No. 5 Operational Training Unit (OTU) Abbotsford Detachment was created. The 5 OTU headquarters had been established at RCAF Station Boundary Bay on April 1, 1944. However, due to the expanding operation, a second location was needed and Abbotsford was the logical choice. No. 5 OTU was created to train Commonwealth crews for the RAF squadrons that were going to be used for the Southeast Asia and Burma theatre of war. The B-24 Liberator, an American-built bomber, was chosen by the Royal Air Force because

American Lend Lease could supply them in large quantities in a much shorter amount of time than could be supplied by English and Canadian-built bombers like the Lancaster. At the height of operations at Abbotsford, staff numbered some 2,000 personnel with the bomber school and No. 5 OTU Unit Abbotsford detachment. The Elementary Flying Training School had an inventory of no less than 100 Cornell aircraft and several hundred civilian employees, many of whom were locals. Approximately 4,500 students were processed at the OTU in a brief 16 months. Tragically, during this period of frenzied operations, some 66 aircrew from the Abbotsford station died in training accidents, many of them crashing in the surrounding mountains and some in the sea never to be found. Not all of the 5 OTU graduates ended up in the Far East or Burma. Some of the Canadian Liberator students were diverted to

The CF-18 Hornet National Demonstration Team is returning to Abbotsford for the 2013 air show and is ready to tear up the skies. The Hornet’s 2013 schedule has the team participating in 19 Canadian air shows, seven shows in the United States and a deployment to Colombia. The CF-18 Demo Team personifies the excellence required to keep the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) among the best aviation organizations on the planet.

RCAF NEWS BRIEFS The largest of its kind After the attack on Pearl Harbour, Canada and the United States rushed to strengthen the Allied military defence position along the entire west coast and millions of dollars were spent in construction. The largest facility of its kind was located on a 900-acre, wooded site at Abbotsford. It contained 44 large buildings including hangars, and had provision for a garrison of thousands of men. The $900,000 contract was awarded to the Marwell Construction Company of Vancouver. Work for the airport facility started June 25, 1942 and continued throughout the winter despite frost and up to two feet of snow, which wreaked havoc on the paving of the three runways. The airport opened on July 14, 1943 as No. 24 Elementary Flying Training School for single engine Cornell planes. A year later the runways were extended and strengthened to accommodate the giant Liberator bombers. In February 1944 No. 5 Operational Training Unit took over the airfield to train RAF and Canadian air crews for overseas oper-

Men of the detachment RCAF Station Abbotsford was established on July 15, 1943 with three officers and 30 airmen. Abbotsford’s first Commanding Officer was Flight Lieutenant G. E. Huggett. Little did Huggett and his small staff know that in less than one year the Abbotsford aerodrome would grow to become part of one of the largest training facilities in all the Commonwealth. It began with the formation of No. 24 Elementary Flying Training school, (EFTS). It took only a few short months for this school to have 97 Cornell training aircraft. On July 15, 1944, the Abbotsford station was transferred to No. 5 Operational Training Unit at Boundary Bay. So began the brief but fascinating history of No. 5 OTU Abbotsford detachment. That day also saw a drastic change in aircraft over the skies of the Fraser Valley. Four engine bombers with 11-man crews training for the Southeast Asia and Burma fronts now flew off runways.

Contributed to training pilots When the community of Abbotsford learned the No. 24 was going to shut down in July 1944, articles about the closing occupied the front pages of The Abbotsford News. The community had become invested in the trainees successes (and failures) and many felt that “some of their own” were aiding in the war effort. It is no surprise then, that Abbotsford residents were overjoyed to find out that training was to continue locally as the No. 5 replaced No. 24 and the Liberators became a “proudly accepted neighbour” in Abbotsford. Residents were again jubilant when No. 5 celebrated successes, such as the graduation of another training course, or the outstanding showing by the station staff in Victory Bond drives. However, they also mourned the loss of fallen airmen.

No longer forgotten In 2010, a 65-year-old wrong was made right. Abbotsford’s forgotten airmen were remembered – forever. On Sept. 11, 2010 a ceremony took place at Abbotsford’s cenotaph to pay tribute to the men who lost their lives while training at

RCAF Station Abbotsford. A plaque containing 66 names was placed on the war memorial. While training only took place for a little more than a year, in that time, several planes crashed, often killing the entire 11-man crew. At its peak, the No. 5

In September 1943, under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, the No. 24 Elementary flying Training School started operations using Cornell aircraft until February 1944. Then, the #5 Liberator Operational Training Unit was based here flying Liberator aircraft.

The Grumman F7F Tigercat was the first twin-engined fighter aircraft to enter service with the United States Navy. It was delivered to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) combat units before the end of the Second World War, but the Tigercat did not see combat service in that war. They saw service in the Korean War and were withdrawn from service in 1954.

During the Second World War, 14 RCAF squadrons flew this aircraft into battle as well the hundreds of Canadian airmen who served in the Royal Air Force. The success of the Spitfire can be attributed to its impressive power to weight and wing design. This Mark IXe Spitfire has served with the air forces of four countries and has been restored to full airworthiness and Second World War markings.

CT-114 Tutor Nickname: “Snowbird” Celebrating its 50th anniversary is the Canadair CT-114 Tutor, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), and later Canadian Forces, standard jet trainer. The Tutor served as the Canadian Forces primary jet trainer until it was replaced by the CT-155 Hawk and CT-156 Harvard II in 2000. The Tutor is currently still used by the Snowbirds aerobatics team, which have been performing since 1978. The airplane was specifically designed to be a side-by-side trainer for simple jet flight training and to further advance a level. The prototype first flew on January 13, 1960.

The Abbotsford International Airshow is celebrating its 51st year. Those of you still able to remember the 1948 flood may also remember the small airshow that took place years before the 1962 show, as a fundraiser for the victims of that flood. If you’re even older than that you might have a faint recollection of Abbotsford Airport’s first airshow on Aug. 15, 1945. Abbotsford Airport was barely two years old that summer, but it was also part of one of the largest air force training units in all of Canada. No. 5 Operational Training Unit Abbotsford Detachment decided to put on an open house as part of a war bond drive. Each year during the Second World War, Canadians were encouraged to contribute to the war effort by purchasing bonds. Abbotsford’s Officer In Command, Wing Commander D.J. Williams, was the catalyst behind this open house and it included a raffle with $500 as first prize. Not long after the tickets went on

sale, Williams was told that some were being sold by the Ladies Auxiliary in the officers’ mess at Western Air Command HQ at Jericho Beach in Vancouver. Williams realized they hadn’t cleared the raffle with HQ and raced to Jericho in his RCAF staff car, a slightly used 1941 Chevy businessman’s coup. As he walked in the door he instructed the ladies that he would have to take back the tickets. “But why?” protested one of the ladies, “They’re selling like hotcakes.” “It’s that old, so-and-so Air Vice Marshall Heaks. If he finds out he’s liable to lose it with me.” The woman replied, ”Yes, he can be disagreeable at times.” Williams looked at her and realized she was the Air Vice Marshall’s wife. The tickets remained on sale. The open house was advertised in the local press and even in Vancouver, including the use of 5 OTU aircraft-dropping leaflets over the city. There was no Trans Canada Highway in those days and traffic was backed up on the Fraser Highway from Mt. Lehman Road.

Dozens of aircraft took part in the open house. There was no official program like today’s airshow, but pictures were taken, legally. Under normal circumstances, cameras were forbidden on a wartime aerodrome, and at least two airmen were brought in for disciplinary action for taking photos during training. So from known photographs, a partial list of the aircraft on static display can be compiled. Dozens of B-24 Liberators were on hand that day, as at that time Abbotsford was home to some 30 of these four-engine bombers. There was an RCAF Lancaster, recently returned from operations in Europe with Canada‘s No. 6 Bomber Group. A B-25 Mitchell from Boundary Bay, a C-47 Dakota, a Noorduyn Norseman, a Grumman Goose, a Canso flying boat, and a Ventura were also present. These aircraft were flown in from RCAF bases all over the West Coast. In addition to 5 OTU bombers there were also some P-40 Kittyhawks and a Mosquito fighter-bomber on hand. The Kittyhawk was a durable fighter but by 1945 it was almost obsolete for combat. Spectators peered into the warm sky to watch the Liberators flying overhead. A communications post was set up on the tarmac and children were given an opportunity to speak to the airmen overhead. Hangars and selected buildings were also opened to the public in order that folks might get a feel for what their tax dollars and war bonds were paying for. A week later, The Abbotsford News reported, “Young and old tried out Link Trainers, Synthetic Trainers and turret guns. They saw Air Sea Rescue gear, and a (recently and locally recovered) Japanese Incendiary Balloon.” It was estimated that more than 12,000 people attended the event, with some 3,000 cars parked in and around the aerodrome and all along Mt. Lehman Road. By all accounts the open house was a huge success.

the East Coast to add crews to the RCAF’s U-boat hunters. Some of the crews which trained at Abbotsford included members of the Burma Bombers, which in reality (unlike the film version) destroyed the famous “bridge on the River Kwai.” At war’s end, two more units would call Abbotsford home – No. 7 Repair and Equipment Maintenance Unit (REMU) and No. 7 Repair and Equipment Maintenance Satellite (REMS). These units would hold some 150 of the RCAF’s aircraft in storage

until it was closed for good in 1946, when most of the aircraft were relocated to the drier stations of the Canadian prairies. There were some 50 buildings at RCAF Abbotsford by war’s end and only six remain now – the three hangars. The Abbotsford Flying Club building, originally the Station Fire Hall and its storage building to the south; and the larger building at the corner of Firecat Avenue and Tower Street, once the Station Equipment Stores building. They are all 70 years old and were constructed as temporary structures for the war.

Jet car a crowd pleaser The roar of a jet engine is nothing new to fans of the Abbotsford Airshow. But most expect to look up when they hear it. At this year's showcase, that roar will be coming from the ground. Smoke-N-Thunder Jet Shows will be on hand to wow the crowd with its Air Force Reserve Jet Car. Before beginning his show, driver Bill Braack normally drives slowly past the

crowd, then engages his afterburners which shoot 20-foot flames, billowing smoke and several mini sonic booms. Then the jet car participates in a race against an airplane. The car can reach speeds of close to 650 kilometres an hour and overtake the plane in seconds. The crowd normally cheers it approval as the parachute deploys to slow down this mighty vehicle.

Floating down to earth The Canadian Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks, is Canada’s only military parachute demonstration team. During the last 41 years it has represented Canada to more than 75 million spectators worldwide under its signature Canadian flag parachutes. The SkyHawks bring the parachutes in close proximity to build formations in the sky and put on a spectacular show. Performing these aerobatic parachute formations requires a high level of skill and courage. Supported by the Canadian Army, the SkyHawks are based out of Trenton, Ontario, at the Canadian Forces Land Advanced Warfare Centre.

In the past month, hundreds of photographers have submitted their works into the 2013 Amateur Photographer of the Year Contest. Now the finalists have a chance to shine at this year's airshow. The contest, sponsored by London Drugs, Black Press and the Abbotsford International Airshow, received almost 2,000 individual entries from around the province. A judging panel has narrowed the field down to finalists from Vernon to Vancouver. "This is the first time we have co-ordinated such a large photographic promotion and we are delighted with the incredible response," said Andrew Franklin, publisher of The Abbotsford News. "Some 73 finalists are excited about at-

tending the airshow and competing in the final round of the contest," he added. The amateur photographers are tasked to submit a total of 10 photographs during the three-day show. These photos will be shared with Black Press community newspapers providing extended coverage of this year's airshow. motivates team members to strive for the highest standards of performance. The Snowbirds (431 Air Demonstration Squadron) consist of approximately 80 Canadian Forces personnel, 24 of whom comprise the show team that travels during the show season. On average they will fly approximately 70 air shows at 50 different locations across North America each year.

Bad Kitty, a Grumman F7F Tigercat, is one of the rarest warbirds on record. Less than 20 Tigercats have been salvaged and, to date, only six are in flying condition. The Grumman Tigercat was the first twin-engined fighter aircraft to enter service with the United States Navy. Designed for the new Midway-class aircraft carriers, the aircraft were too large to operate from earlier decks. Although delivered to United States Marine Corps (USMC) combat units before the end of the Second World War, the Tigercat did not see combat service in

that war. Most F7Fs ended up in land-based service, as attack aircraft or night fighters; only the later F7F-4N was certified for carrier service. They saw service in the Korean War and were withdrawn from service in 1954. In the 1960s, the Tigercats were put to work as firefighters. Bad Kitty and a few other cats were fit with belly tanks that held fire retardant. Bad Kitty has now been fully restored and you can see it fly at this year's Abbotsford Airshow.

Cascades fall to Rice Owls Relentless NCAA hoop squad too much for UFV

About 300 fans came out to see the Rice University Owls of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) defeat the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades 8862, in exhibition action Thursday night. The victory improved the Owls’ record to 2-0 on their three-game tour of B.C. The visitors played Capilano University on Saturday and then returned to Houston, Texas. The game was the first preseason contest for the Cascades this year. UFV came out strong and matched their NCAA rivals in the first quarter. Jasper Moedt, who made his return to the Cascades lineup after a year’s absence, hit two quick three pointers to give UFV the early 7-5 lead. The Owls were relentless from the three-point range, hitting 62 per cent of their long-range shots to earn a slim four-point lead after the first quarter. Continued on A12

In the second quarter, Rice continued their hot shooting, hitting 60 per cent of their field goal attempts for the entire first half, while putting on a defensive clinic. The visitors held UFV to 12 second-quarter points. The Owls led by a score of 52-31 at the break. Moedt led all Cascade scorers with 12 points at the intermission. Klaus Figueredo pulled down a team-high six rebounds in the half. The Owls were led by Keith Washington with 11 points as 12 different Rice players scored in the half. Andrew Drone led all Owls with four boards. The second half was low scoring as the defences dominated the half. The Cascades, despite a short bench, kept up with Rice in the third quarter and held the Owls to 17 points. In the fourth, UFV started to tire as Rice freely subbed in 13 different players. FRIESEN “We played hard tonight and gave Rice a good game,” said UFV Cascades head coach Adam Friesen. “I was pleased with our effort and look forward to having the full complement of players out there for our next game.” Moedt led all Cascades with a 20-point performance and seven rebounds. Figueredo added 12 points and 13 rebounds and Kadem Wills scored 11 points in his first CIS exhibition game. UFV shot 33 per cent for the game while Rice shot 47 percent. Washington led Rice with a game-high 23 points. Max Guercy chipped in with 13 points and Seth Gearhart round out the Owls in double figures with 12. Three different Owls pulled down five rebounds as Rice out-rebounded UFV 43-37 for the game.

HEAT HOST GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Abbotsford Heat Foundation’s fourth annual golf tournament will be held on Monday, Sept. 23 at Ledgeview Golf and Country Club. Registration is $225 per player, including lunch and dinner. Those who register before Aug. 15 will receive a complimentary mulligan pack worth $25 for each player in their group. Last season’s Heat golf tourney raised nearly $30,000, with all proceeds going to the foundation and their mission to improve the quality of life for the under-17 age group of the Fraser Valley. FLAMES SIGN BRODIE Abbotsford Heat defenceman T.J. Brodie has signed a twoyear deal with the Calgary Flames of the NHL. Brodie played 47 games last season with the Flames, recording 14 points including two goals. Prior to joining the Flames, he appeared in 35 games for the Abbotsford Heat, notching another 20 points. In his first professional season in 2010-11, Brodie recorded 34 points in 68 games with the Heat while also performing in his first three NHL games with Calgary. He was also named to the 2011 AHL All-Star Game as he finished the year as Abbotsford’s leading scorer among defencemen, and tied for second on the team overall. He also led the Heat in assists with 29. The two-year contract is worth $1.75 million in 2013-14 and $2.5 million in 2014-15.

Troels Asmussen Jaeger died peacefully in the Menno Hospital in Abbotsford, B.C, at the age of 73, on Saturday, July 27th, 2013. He was born in Denmark and immigrated to Canada at the age of 11, with his family, and subsequently became a Canadian citizen. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bsc in Forestry and an MSc(cum Laude) in Forestry. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity while at university and was appointed Scientific Editor of the Forest Products Research Laboratory in Ottawa from 1969 to 1981. He was a member of the Rockcliffe Flying Club from 1977 to 1981. He subsequently moved to Abbotsford, BC, where he became an active member of Central Heights Church. He was beloved father of Christopher Brett Jaeger, stepfather to Shannon Hallet McLean and Jason Laporte and is survived by his sisters, Susanne Mohle, Marianne Crane and Rose Sibany, and brothers, Walter Jaeger and Robert Jaeger and fifteen nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Wiebe and Jeske Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers a donation to your favourite charity would be appreciated by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Central Heights Church in the Nikkel Hall on Aug. 9, 2013 at 2.00 pm.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of JoAnne Curtis on July 20th, 2013 after a short but very courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her best friend and husband Grant, her children, Cora (David), Sean, Angie (Travis) and her grandchildren Ben, Adam, Kelso, Josh, Carter, Makenna and Austin. She will also be remembered by her 2 brothers and 1 sister and their families as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Ben and Annie Erman. JoAnne’s laughter and smile would light up a room, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her especially her family. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed doing so many things like traveling, photography and most of all her love of painting. But her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. Whether it was a tea party, an impromptu dance party, a walk on the seawall, giving advice or just an ear to listen, she was there for everyone. She will always have a very special place in all our hearts. A private family service was held at Hazelwood Cemetery on July 24th, 2013. The family would like to thank all the wonderful care staff at the Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack for the wonderful care they gave JoAnne.
