s the weather heats up and with summer in full swing, it’s easy to forget about people in need of assistance with putting food on their table. That’s why the Kelowna Community Food Bank is holding its annual Christmas in July campaign, trying to keep awareness up that there are still people who need regular help during the summer. With the program in place again this year, the food bank is looking to hit its fundraising goals, something it hasn’t done in the summer months for the past three years.
