In a sparsely populated auditorium Saturday afternoon, the four candidates vying to represent the Shuswap riding in B.C.’s provincial election agreed on several issues, one of them being their top priority if elected. In response to a question about what they would lobby for with the interests of the Shuswap in mind, all candidates said jobs. B.C. He also touched on the environment, particularly support for agriculture and the role of test kitchens in adding value to agricultural products. Tractors Starting at

He said four-laning the Trans-Canada Highway would increase tourism and facilitate getting products to market. He said an existing fibre optic line near the rail line would provide an opportunity for a call centre in the Shuswap.
