multi-million dollar project to restore the historical meanderings of Mission Creek will enrich and expand fish and wildlife habitat, increase the opportunities for outdoor recreation and help to provide better flood control. A significant milestone was reached this week with purchase of a small portion of the historic Casorso property in order that the dikes can be set back to expand the creek’s influence.
