And not surprisingly there was a lot of good-natured ribbing as Team Blue outscored Team Red 6-4, with both sides exchanging several quality scoring chances. "You guys put on a great show," longtime Richmond All Blacks' skipper Kyle Shury said of the RSSA's annual showcase event. Alex Ventouras of the Islanders FC, who coached Team Blue, echoed Shury's sentiment, adding "the sharp uniforms were a nice touch." "It was great to see so many fans come out to support their teammates," said league president Steve Valenzuela. "I'm really proud of what we put together for our membership. The executive worked very hard to create a memorable event and I think the effort the team put in paid off."
