Years ago my wife and I decided to stop giving spare change to those who asked. Instead we purchased some $5 Gift Cards for Tim Horton’s. Now we carry those around and when someone is in need, we give them a card. It’s nice to know they will get a warm meal and hot coffee instead of a few cold coins. BTW – the cards get a much bigger thank you!

I’ve given many bags and boxes of household items, clothing and toiletries to Our Place recently. I feel good knowing that every item will be given free to the children, women and men who need it most. – Glenda-Lee P. Victoria, B.C.
