santa’s send-off & pajama party Santa Claus is visiting Guildford Town Centre until December 23, and then, he has to rush back to get ready for Christmas Eve. Families are invited to come to the centre at 7pm, in pajamas with their stuffies and blankets, and join in the fun. Meet us at Centre Court for milk and cookies, a sing-along with Joey Hanlon, and a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Santa himself!

You can help support the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) and local young artists at the same time by purchasing the 2nd limited edition of the timeless classic, Twas the Night Before Christmas.

This is the second year Guildford Town Centre has supported this creative community project, and once again, it’s an opportunity to showcase three young local artists.

All proceeds from the sale of Twas the Night Before Christmas ($10 cash only), goes to support the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation. You can purchase the collector’s edition book at Customer Service, and view the original artwork at Centre Court from December 8 to 22.

Mirror Mirror, a juried exhibition of self-portraits at Surrey Art Gallery continues until Dec. 16. The exhibit, presented by the Arts Council of Surrey, brings together works from 30 artists from across the Metro Vancouver region who use the form to depict not just physignomy and personal identity, but also broader social issues. The gallery, 13750 88 Ave. The art rental and sales program at the Surrey Arts Centre provides the community with easy access to original artwork by local artists.
