Check out Waves of Kindness happening in our community: My daughter, granddaughter and I were out having lunch in Victoria. The young girl at the table behind us was coloring and her crayon broke, she got really upset about it. My 4 year old granddaughter took her crayon, got up and went over to give it to the young girl. She smiled and thanked her. They were from Peru, language of sharing is universal. – Leigh, Duncan, B.C.
Paying it forward makes the world a better place. Just the smallest thing can make a difference. We were going to Victoria and did our usual Timmy’s run. My husband paid for the person next in line. Later that day we were at dinner and a fellow came to us with a coupon book and stated that we could use one of the coupons. Wow that’s amazing! – Tammy, Duncan, B.C. Every year, my mom and I collect jackets, socks, hats and Tim Hortons hot chocolate. We drive around Duncan at X-mas time. We give them out to the homeless or anyone we could see that could use them.
