A ‘resplendent facility’

The Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre had both its official and public openings last week. The 275-seat facility was roundly praised by those who spoke at the official opening last week, including B.C. Minister of Education George Abbott. Guests at the opening were treated to a series of speeches and performances. See page 2 & 3 for the full story. Top: The RSS choir is joined by school district superintendent Anne Cooper and Minister Abbott for a performance of Leonard Cohen’s classic Hallelujah.; Left: The audience at the opening stands for the singing of O Canada.; The RSS drum line, consisting of Tristan Lahue, Gordon Mason, Amy Badger, Henry Davis, Stu Dickson, Halyley Copperthwaite and Jake Wallach perform.
