News moves to Thursdays Expect to get your news a little earlier, starting May 17. The Alberni Valley News is moving delivery from Fridays to Thursdays. The News will be delivered by 6 p.m. Thursdays instead of Fridays, starting May 17. “We listened to the requests of our faithful readers and advertisers, and felt we must respond with this change,” said publisher Teresa Bird.
