Museum Summer Camps ARCHAEOLOGY DAY CAMP Discover archaeology for a day! Campers will learn about Princeton’s history, while having fun and undertaking a series of interactive activities. Activities include a visit to the Ochre Bluffs and hike on the KVR, a hands on lesson on fossils, rocks and minerals, and an outdoor artifact dig. During the course of the day campers will develop a basic understanding of archaeology through hands-on activities taught by an archaeologist.
Price Per Camp: $30.00 per child Ages 8-11 Hours 10am-3pm
Requirements: Bag lunch required; be prepared for outdoor weather conditions and wear closed-toe sturdy shoes.
Date: Tuesday July 10 CSI CAMP There has been a Break and Enter at the museum, and it’s up to our campers to solve the crime. Join RCMP members who will walk campers through the basics of an investigation using Forensic's to help solve the crime (Fingerprints, Photographs, Tool and Tire Impressions, ...etc).

ARTS AND CULTURE SEA BREEZE POTTERY CAMP Kids will experiement with clay as they develop their hand building techniques; pinch, coil and slab work. Kids will sculpt and glaze their ‘sea’ creations and are introduced to the potters’ wheel with professional potter Sue Delatore LePoidevin. Cost includes instruction, clay, glazes and firing. AVIATION COPA FOR KIDS The COPA for Kids aviation program is a –free of chargeaviation program that puts COPA member pilots together one on one with young people between 8 and 18 years of age to show them what aviation is all about and to give them an expierence of being in the cockpit of an aircraft in flight. Registration requires a minimum of one week prior to program start date. Class sizes are limited and are filled on a first come, first served basis. All classes are subject to cancellation due to insufficient registration, weather or non-availability of facilities. In these cases, a full refund or prorated refund will be issued. Nothing kills a good program faster than last minute registration. If minimum registration is not met ONE WEEK PRIOR to the start date listed with the program we will have to cancel. Refunds requested by participants will be given for medical reasons only and will be prorated if program has started. Programs are not offered on statutory holidays. If you object to having your photo (or your children) please advise staff. CHILDREN’S FITNESS TAX CREDIT The Child Fitness Tax Credit is a measure to help parents offset some of the costs of healthy, active living programs for parents of children under the age of 16. Up to $500 can be claimed when children are registered in a supervised program that is: Ongoing for a minimum of 8 weeks at one or more sessions per week; Children’s camps at 5 consecutive days; Must include a significant amount of physical activity.
