Building on the growing public interest and the progress we are making with our project, we are keen to raise our public profile and recognition. Our mission was also featured in Estadão, one of the most read and relevant newspapers in Brazil.
We are incredibly grateful to Eduardo Geraque for taking an interest in our mission and giving the world a closer look at how we are ecologically restoring the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor.
The BJF was also featured in Valor Econômico, a very relevant newspaper in Brazil, which highlighted the importance of realizing the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor. As Timóteo Camargo explains in the piece, the area of the corridor alone “represents 8% of the commitment Brazil has made with regards to reforestation “...“ in the Paris agreement”.
