We finally made it through the cold and rainy winter, so now we can enjoy the warm spring weather. The beginning of spring has already been filled with events. In March, students got a chance to showcase their talents in a district wide competition. The student recognition project allowed students throughout the district to show off what they have learned at school. Students got a chance to participate in categories such as photography, graphic design, or drama. There was a wide range of categories to make sure that every single person had something to contribute. The open house displayed everyone’s remarkable projects. Congratulations to all the winners and participants!

Spring also holds some of the most memorable events in high school. During lunch, for instance, seniors formed teams with their friends and played in a dodgeball tournament to see who would become the dodgeball champions. This was both fun to watch and to play! Furthermore, juniors got to experience one of the most memorable high school experiences- junior prom. Whether they went with a date or with their friends, everyone had a blast. It was a night no one could ever forget- including music, laughter, and food.

Fourth quarter is here, which means it is time to start thinking about our classes for next year. During AP night, incoming tenth, eleventh, and twelfth graders got a chance to learn about their choices of AP classes for next year. This was an amazing night, for it helped many students make their decisions on what classes they want to take next year. Fourth quarter also means spring break is almost here. Everyone is looking forward to spring break as a reward for all of our hard work!
