A little structure in your dog’s life can be beneficial for everyone in the household, especially when it comes to exercise. Regularly exercising your dog is just as important as exercise for you. Health benefits include helping hip joints, reducing digestive problems, and keeping your dog a healthy weight, which decreases the likelihood of developing other health problems. The benefits of keeping your dog on a regular exercise schedule extend far beyond just health.
As humans, having a predictable schedule and fun plans to look forward to help us to get through long or stressful days. The predictability of a regular exercise schedule can give your dog something to look forward to also. By nature, dogs are pack animals and when left alone for extended amounts of time, it can take a toll on their mental well-being. They can turn to destructive behavior like aggression, barking, escaping and causing damage to the home to reduce stress. By offering them a fun daily adventure to look forward to that is physically stimulating, it breaks up the loneliness and relieves symptoms of boredom and frustration.

To ensure that your dog lives a healthy and happy life, make sure to schedule regular exercise.
Most dogs enjoy the great outdoors and are master explorers; it is in their genes after all. Walking will allow your dog to become more socialized and accepting of new situations and environments, which helps build his self confidence.
Dog Tired Adventures offers daily adventures for your pup while you are busy at work or with the kids. We truly enjoy taking your dog on our adventures. Visit us online at www.dogtiredadventuresca.com.
