Heartlands Cornwall: SAVE OUR PARK!

Wind rushing through your hair as you fly down the slide, that feeling of finally conquering the climbing frame, pretending to be a pirate with your friends. There’s nothing like a trip to Heartlands Adventure Playground, but after eleven years of memories our park is in need of rejuvenation.

If we do not act now, in five years, there will be no park at Heartlands for families to enjoy which is why we are raising money to bring our park back to life. As well as repairing and replacing old equipment we want to make our park more inclusive for children with disabilities and aim to have a wheelchair friendly swing, roundabout, trampolines plus plenty of sensory equipment.

Pilgrim Explorers - It’s adventure time!

A series of 8 micro pilgrimages ideally suited to primary school children. Each will take you on a journey of discovery finding out about local history, geography, conservation, saints and legends.

Follow a colourful map, looking for lots of interesting features.

Reflect on nature as you walk, look, listen and think. Be creative with natural materials or go on a Beach Scavenger Hunt.

Each micro pilgrimage is between 2 and 7 miles long. Some are on the coast path, others in and around towns. They are ideal for a school group or family day out, with clearly marked routes and easy-to-follow instruction.
