We struggled against Egan, but a few of my friends won their matches

Blach’s tennis team has had a difficult season. The match against Egan was especially hard “We struggled against Egan, but a few of my friends won their matches It was my first loss, and it was embarrassing because it was against Egan, our rival school,” says Michael Shukhman.

“It's been a challenging and frustrating season,” says Coach Peter. “We are 0 and 4. Our number 2 and 3 singles player decided not to return this season. That really hurt us A couple of matches we defaulted because we did not have enough players.”

Even though a lot of the season was difficult for the team, they did beat Graham and Lawson in exhibition matches.

According to Michael, Graham was “too bad for us” and Lawson was “supposed to crush us, but we crushed them.” “I played their #3 seed, and she was really good, so I had to play defensive a lot. I won 8-1, but the score doesn’t reflect the actual match. I was really proud of the team,” says Michael
