Emergency Operations Centers

DESIGNING RESILIENT, HIGH-PERFORMANCE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTERS

At BKV Group, we specialize in designing high-performance emergency operations centers that support rapid response, seamless coordination, and advanced technology integration. Our expertise in industry trends and operational efficiency enhances decision-making and resilience. We also integrate support spaces like break areas for staff well-being, press briefing rooms for clear communication, collaboration zones for agency coordination, and secure planning rooms for strategic discussions. Whether building a new facility or optimizing an existing one, we work closely with you to ensure your EOC is adaptable, efficient, and ready to perform when it matters most.

DESIGN INNOVATION

At BKV Group, we transform your functional needs and community identity into a visionary, high-performing design. Through collaboration with agencies, departments, and community leaders, we create spaces that balance functionality with local character, ensuring broad support and lasting impact.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our research-driven approach evaluates sustainability options based on both environmental and economic value. By making informed decisions early in the design process, we help leaders implement sustainable solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and resilient under public scrutiny.

SHELTER & RESILIENCY

The design needs to address the complex requirements of managing large-scale crises and support the collaboration of different stakeholders involved in disaster response. The EOC should provide protection from the emergency (e.g., reinforced walls, limited windows, fire suppression systems). The center should also be safe for staff in case of disasters like tornadoes, floods, or attacks.
