Welcome
Cattle Enthusiasts,

Welcome to year four of “The Limited Female Sale.” For those who have been along for the ride from the very first sale, thank you for your continued support. For those just joining us for the first time, welcome! Just as it has in years past, the sale will be Monday, December 16th on SC Online Sales. This catalog is simply a reference and all videos can be viewed on SC Online.
It feels like every year we talk about how the cattle business continues to boom. We all talk about how high the show steers are selling, how high the show heifers are selling, and how the feeder cattle market and commercial cow market are trending upwards. With that being said, there is no doubt that cattle that can produce always have been, and will continue to be, a solid investment. As you flip through this catalog, we think that you will find bred females that can do just that... Raise steers and heifers alike that will give you return on your investment.
There are multiple females that go back to some of our highest dollar generating donors as well as some of our most recent national champions. We strongly believe in cow families and are confident that the females offered in this sale will go to work for you and make a positive impact on your program. The best part of this bred female sale for us is getting phone calls and text messages from previous customers telling us about their success with their Limited Female Sale purchases. With this being year four of this sale, that list of satisfied customers continues to grow and we can’t wait to see what success comes from this years offering.
The lots offered from Wise Cattle Company are available for viewing in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and the lots offered from BK Cattle / Rippeon Farms are located in Keymar, Maryland. We would love to have you come by and view the offering in person, but if you can not make it please feel free to reach out to any of us as well as any of the sale consultants to discuss the cattle. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

BKCE JRIP Lady 0051L | Angus | DOB: April 2023 24 Karat x Lady 62 (Lutton) | Papers: Yes DUE 2/4/25 to SAV Brilliance (Female)
We are leading off the 2024 Limited with an Angus female that is as good as we have ever offered. Lot 1 is so correct in her structure, is elegant in her front 1/3 yet powerful and sets down on a huge set of feet and legs. It is hard to make Angus cattle with bone and look like this 24 Karat daughter. She is backed by our Lady 62 cow that has had multiple high selling daughters across many different breeds. We feel that lot 1 can be utilized to not only generate Angus offspring but Maine and Simmental as well, just like her momma!

A full sister in blood to the very popular PVF Marvel 9185. Lot 2 is everything you can ask for in terms of cow power. She has an awesome hip and hind leg, is robust in her middle and as flexible as they come. Lot 2 is out of a direct daughter of the popular PVF Missie 0084. 0084 is a maternal sister to the iconic bull PVF Insight and was a cornerstone donor for Alan Miller. The Missie cow family just keeps clicking and Lot 2 is no exception.

Quite possibly one of our favorite females in the offering. The very first Private Stock daughter for us to sell out of a highly productive dam. Lot 3 is so good in many ways. Her center body is incredible and she has the look and presence of a female that can generate for years to come. Females like this are extremely hard to part with, but here she is.

When I flushed Lady 62 to Irish Whiskey, my intention was to keep every single one of them for cows until we decided last minute to clip this one. When we kicked her out in the lot, I knew she had to be a sale feature. Her bone, her shape, her presence and her power screams donor cow. I have no doubt that this is the kind of female that you can build a program around. Her mother has generated over and over again for us and we think this daughter will do the same. Bid with confidence.

She combines so much power with a soft flexible running gear and look that goes on for days. Her muscle shape and added shag are what we feel is needed to produce those highly sought after show steers. This mating needs no introduction to the Maine-Anjou world as many full sisters to Lot 6 have sold extremely well and won a lot of shows.

The crew snapped this picture right out of the gate while BK was having coffee and pie with momma Kathy in the house! We learned quick that we don’t even need him! All jokes aside, the picture and video explain this one plenty good enough. Study this one’s pedigree and build. A true donor type female!

I would take 100 bred heifers that are built just like this one. Lot 9 is easy fleshing, awesome in her center body, has plenty of power and style to burn. This heifers mother won her division at Maine-Anjou Junior Nationals and then went on to win the Junior and Open Maine-Anjou shows at KILE in 2022. The I80 calf in this heifer’s belly will register as a High Maine and we think it could pay some serious dividends. Bid with confidence! DSM Maggie’s Bank 507J | Dam of lot 9

Chianina enthusiasts - here is your heifer! We love Lot 10, her look from the side is as good as any in the sale. She is extremely flexible in her skeleton and has the extra softness in her middle. I love this one’s pedigree on the top and bottom side. Cattle that are built like this will never go out of style.

We really appreciate the time we get to spend with Jaecke when he comes to visit with us in the spring. He recommended using the popular Maternal Made son, GCC Masterpiece, and we are sure glad we did. This is the only Masterpiece we will be offering but one that is as functional as any. Great running gear, awesome ribbed, and has a killer look. As Kent would say, “Look at the power! Look at the BODY! “ Lot 11 has a great disposition as well. Make sure to add her to Santa’s list.

We think this one has endless potential raising show steers. The Who Da Man cow that lot 12 is out of has generated lots of steers and heifers in her career, Including a Conversation daughter that sold through the very first Limited Female Sale to David Fosbrink of Indiana. We bought some embryos out of the Lady 62 cow from BK long before this sale was even going on and ended up with two really nice Relentless daughters. Since then, it’s been fun to breed on them and see what kind of females we can generate to get BK’s blood pumping. We think that this Done Deal daughter is what the industry is after. She is soft made, easy fleshing, stout, yet has tons of look and balance. A true front pasture kind of female that you can build a herd around. Sells safe to the king, Gold Standard. Exposed to Sub Zero Son | Checked Safe AI

I have said this once before, but this is the kind that most people would like to have 100 of. Easy fleshing, good structured, stout and good looking. Combine all that into a balanced package thats backed by one of our best cows and the legendary Data Bank and you have lot 16. I think the mating potential on the Maine-Anjou side of things will generate some serious dollars. Bid with confidence, these Lady 62 daughters are the real deal!

This heifers mother, CSCX MS Getcha Some 354B, was one we bought from Campbell Land and Cattle a few years back that we showed successfully in the purebred Simmental division. She is a Steel Force x FELT Gotta Getcha Some 30x, which was a successful donor for them. Lot 21 is out of the popular STAG Good Times bull, which makes this heifer a half blood Sim-Angus female. This female is square out of her hip, stout made and sets down on a very correct running gear. If you like a maternal bred one that is stout boned and hairy, this female is just that. “Betty” was a fan favorite of many that saw her at NAILE in 2019 when she was Reserve Champion AOB Female. Now that she is a cow, not much has changed. Visitors compliment her on her structure, presence, and power. There is no Maine Anjou bull on the market that has semen selling as high as Mafia’s. With the extremely limited supply of Memphis Mafia as well as End Game, we don’t think you can go wrong in your selection. As for the How Great Thou Art embryos, you will be a frontrunner in Betty’s club calf career, and we think it is going to be fun... get on board!
