Pray for Australia fundraiser planned PRAY FOR Australia â&#x20AC;&#x201C; Interfaith community prayer and fundraiser planned for Sunday 12th January at South Bank Piazza. The event is a joint effort of many organisations, event coordinators are Umesh Chandra and Jo Pratt. Umesh Chandra represents, Queensland Multicultural Council, GOPIO QLD and Radio 4EB. Jo Pratt is the manager of Radio 4EB. The event is supported by Brisbane City Council GOPIO Qld, GOPIO Gold Coast, FICQ, ICQ, Arya Samaj , Indian Seniors and many faith organisations. The power of collective prayer for a common course can never be underestimated, the collective prayer shows the community unity we all prayer within our own communities, but when we come together to pray, we stand side by side our brethren. Radio 4EB will have a live broadcast form the venue. Organisers are requesting everyone to spread the word round so that we cam all come together in prayer. is trying to their level best to assist. Pray for Australia fund raiser event will feature interfaith prayers, pledge of donations and address by dignitaries, the event is, donations will be welcomed, though the main purpose of the gathering is to get together in prayers, we have seen even non-believers reach out and pray.
