ACTOR - director - producer Kangana Ranaut is all set to add another feather to her cap as she will soon be seen as a host of a reality show. The actress will be making her web debut with ALT Balaji and MX Player's fearless reality show Lock Upp- Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel. In a neverseen-before reality show, 16 controversial celebrities will be put together in a lock-up for months and will be stripped of their amenities.

Lock Upp will also have a celebrity jailer whose identity has yet not been unveiled. Speaking at the event, Kangana took a dig at Salman Khan hosted reality show Bigg Boss. "Ye koi aapke bade bhai ka ghar nahi hai, yeh mera jail hai (This is not your big brother's house, this is my jail). I will have files of every contestant and their truth," she said.

Further talking about the show marking her OTT debut, Kangana said, "For a long time, I wanted to do something on OTT but I didn’t have any clarity to what I wanted to do. When Ekta called and narrated the idea I really liked it." "In most of my films, I play larger-than-life characters. I never got a chance to interact with the audience at my level. I had Twitter but I have been banned from there (laughs). So I thought this show would allow me to interact with the people," she added.

JAyA Bachchan who was spared the Covid19 virus when her entire family— her husband Amitabh, son Abhishek and daughterin-law Aishwarya—were infected in 2020 has got the virus.

The project that gets most directly affected is Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani where Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan star in a pivotal role. The shooting of the next schedule in Delhi has been postponed.

Says a source, “The shooting schedule for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was to begin on 2 February and end on 14 February. First Shabana Azmi tested positive and now Jaya Bachchan. Karan has now called off the schedule. He doesn’t want to take a risk with the rest of the cast and crew.”

Like they say, Jaan Hai Toh Jahaan Hai.

gangubai kathiawadi trailer: alia Bhatt rocks the show; sanjay Leela Bhansali gets into a light hearted zone

SANJAy Leela Bhansali has always been a prolific filmmaker but he has been on another level since Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela (2013). With each passing film, he out did himself in terms of impact and box office. His last film Padmaavat (2018) was a box office blockbuster and hence expectations are immense from Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film faced numerous delays and it's all set to release on February 25. The trailer will be out tomorrow and Bollywood Hungama got a sneak peek. And we can confidently say that it's a film to watch out for.

What one immediately notices is that unlike the other Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, Gangubai Kathiawadi doesn't seem as intense. The background score has a light hearted entertaining vibe. Though the film is set in a red light area, the treatment is quite commercial and this is sure to benefit the film at the box office.

What also is impressive is of course Alia Bhatt playing the lead role. She owns the character and is unlike anything she has essayed before. The character is badass but is sensitive. Alia brings out both sides beautifully and also raises laughs with her one liners.

Ajay Devgn's look was unveiled earlier in the day and his presence elevates the impact. His sole dialogue shows that his benevolent character is in the same zone as Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (2010) and hence, it'll help in upping the buzz.

The article couldn't be complete without mentioning the surprise of the trailer - Vijay Raaz. His character reminds one of Sadashiv Amrapurkar's Maharani act from Sadak (1991). As Raziabai, his character of a eunuch seems powerful and her confrontation with Gangubai can make for a great drama.

Women centric films often have had difficulty in finding audiences. Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer indicates that here's a film, driven by a heroine, which can work big time at the box office. If all goes well, Gangubai Kathiawadi has the ability to emerge as the first major HIT of 2022!

The Megastar has now shared two new posters and the release date for his much awaited action-comedy, Bachchan Pandey, which also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead.

Helmed by Farhad Samji and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Bachchan Pandey will hit screens on Holi, this 18th March 2022.

In the first poster, Akshay Kumar looked menacing in an edgy avatar. His intense look is complemented with the new posters featuring a smouldering Akshay Kumar looking ready for action, and a poster of him atop a tractor with an army of men equally ready to roll!

ayan Mukerji’s directorial Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films of the year. After multiple delays owing to the time taken in the making of the film and due to the pandemic, the film is now set on releasing in theatres on September 9, 2022. Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy with Nagarjuna, and Shah Rukh Khan in special appearances. The film is being coproduced by Dharma Productions and the makers have planned an elaborate marketing strategy to promote the magnum opus.

In December, the makers of the film organised a grand event to unveil the logo, release date, and first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva in the film. The event was graced by Ayan, Ranbir, and Alia and the first asset received an overwhelming response. Recently, while talking to Bollywood Hungama, Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions, spoke about the release strategy of the film. "We are very confident of the film. We spent a lot of time making it. I think Fox and Disney are very strongly involved with us at every level. I mean, they are driving this film. There are big plans about how we want to release this film." "We are really excited because we did a really breathtaking and impactful launch of the logo and the release date. And now I think we have formed many interesting marketing ideas and plans, all of which will keep unfolding as we come," he added.

While he did not reveal when the world will be able to witness yet another glimpse from the film, Mehta assured, "There's a lot of stuff that is under production, and it is going to be coming continuously through the year as we near the release."
