Introduction
Hi. My name is Aston Walker and I am a graduate Computer Games Technology computer scientist and inventor who graduated from BCU under the computer science scholar Dr Carlo Harvey. https://www.bcu.ac.uk/computing/about-us/our-staff/carlo-harvey
I have started a company based at BCU called ARAIVR Systems.
This 10 minute micro teach is an introduction to our system for training new ARAIVR Systems Officers, how to make graphene sensors, program computer games and microcontrollers. We bring these disciplines together to innovate and file patents.
Please find on your desks an ARAIVR Handout which we will use throughout this presentation.

Some code
Microcontrollers and Microcomputers
This is a Raspberry Pi. Nintendo Switch or Playstation also use microcontrollers. https://www.raspberrypi.org/ https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32-nucleo-boards.html
A computer only understands 1s and zeros. So the C++ or C or C# has to be converted into machine code for the chip to do the the work and output super mario or sonic the hedgehog ot make the breaking system in a car work or make the washing machine do a cycle.
How a computer works
Transistors:
A transistor is a semiconductor device used to amplify or switch electrical signals and power. The transistor is one of the basic building blocks of modern ... computers
On and off is represented as 1 and 0 or true or false.

Here is the President of the America
YOU are SMART!!!
https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/chips-center-stage-businesses-manage-risks-and-countries-manage-rivalries You understand Chip technology better than the president of the USA in 2022! The reason your smartphone is so clever and fast is because the chips have lots of transistors that can do lots of cool things, because they are close together. 3nm close.
Graphene
Graphene (/ˈɡræfiːn/) is an allotrope of carbon consisting of a single layer of atoms arranged in a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice nanostructure.[4] The name is derived from "graphite" and the suffix -ene, reflecting the fact that the graphite allotrope of carbon contains numerous double bonds. (hint hint) a clue for the quiz sheet. In 2004, the material was rediscovered, isolated and investigated at the University of Manchester,[13] by Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov. In 2010, Geim and Novoselov were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for their "groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene".[15] High-quality graphene proved to be surprisingly easy to isolate.

lets make some graphene!!!!

have to break these bonds and separate them to get single and few sheet graphene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvVKzyOwcT4&t=11s
Patents A patent is an original idea a prototype.
Combining what we have learned we can then develop new and innovative consumer products.

We looked at code
Conclusion
We looked at how the microchip works
We made some sensors
And finally we looked at how we can innovate and come up with new ideas based on what we have learned.
Online (hope internet works.....) Here is an ONLINE game from our new website http://www.getoffmyneck.co.uk/bird/ This means you can program a game online to interact with your graphene sensors.
