Escape to Freedom on the Underground Railroad

This class will cover the movement in American history known as the Underground Railroad. In this session will be: Underground Railroad general history, routes, special coded railroad terms, fact or fiction, notable people, important stations (safe houses), information about what happened once the “freedom seekers” reached northern free states or Canada, and many moving stories about those who escaped and those who helped. Come along while we escape to freedom using the famous Underground Railroad.

This lecture will provide practical tools and strategies for clearing out unnecessary belongings before others are burdened with the task. Based on the principles from author Margareta Magnusson, attendees will learn to reduce the emotional connection to stuff and begin the journey of cleaning out the clutter.
