Data Analytics Technician
Today’s office demands a wide range of computer expertise from support staff. The Data Analytics Technician program will provide you with highly marketable skills in data collection, data analysis, communication, organization, time management, and problem solving. Curriculum integrates database, spreadsheets, programming/scripting, and mathematics courses.
Electronics Technology
This one-year program provides a basic electronics background. While the study is intense, your education will apply directly to the job market. You’ll learn in BSC’s modern laboratory and apply classroom theory. Coursework contains two semesters of digital electronics and classes in alternating current and direct current analysis, solid-state devices and active devices.
Electronics/Telecommunications Technology
Prepare for a great career in a fast-growing field that’s becoming more complex and interesting. Learn to be an Electronics/ Telecommunications Technology professional for a world undergoing technological revolution. Virtually every industry has some electronic aspect to its operations. Manufacturing, information technology, servicing, processing, and telecommunications will all continue to need skilled workers to install, maintain and repair increasingly complex systems. Get the knowledge for a future where you’re in command—and in demand.
Engineering Technology
In this two-year program, you’ll train to be a technician who assists engineers in project planning and completion. The education prepares you for practical design and production work in jobs such as draftsperson, inspector, estimator, data collector or member of a survey crew. Technicians may also assist with engineering-related computations and help engineering teams solve problems on projects. The education also gives you a great foundation to work in the field as an engineer later on. Engineering Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Commission of ABET.
Geographic Information Systems Technician (GIS)
Learn how to use a powerful computer-based tool that makes use of spatial and statistical methods to analyze geographic information. GIS creates maps and graphics from informational databases linked to a location. Today, GIS technology impacts nearly every aspect of daily life and is integral to the decision-making processes of business, industry and government. Basic program objectives include knowledge and skill in computer operations and mapping structures.
