Middle School Rocks Sports’ Championships!

Bishop Dunne’s Middle School athletes were on fire this year, winning championships for baseball (team went undefeated), girls basketball, 8th grade boys basketball (team went undefeated), junior varsity track, and two individual city champions in cross country! The season was non-stop excitement and great sports-watching fun for fans. Bishop Dunne looks forward to watching these young athletes in the upcoming years as they become high school Falcons.
Volleyball
40 girls showed up during the first two weeks of summer for volleyball workouts. It was a season that changed future expectations among players and parents alike and made room for girls to take the sport more seriously. Dunne had four players earn district honors, including Laila Jackson (11), who made 1st Team All-District, and Grahson Harris (10), earning an Honorable Mention. Bishop Dunne will play a tougher preseason this year to prepare for the exciting challenge of battling our district opponents. The girls have a plan they intend to execute!
