FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Gift It Your Way
Birthright Israel Foundation provides the following designated funding opportunities for donors to connect with our work on a more personal level. Supporters are invited to designate gifts to the annual campaign in increments of $60,000 or consider a Planned Gift through Foundation Futures for these projects.
Accessibility/Special Needs Trips
It is our belief that all eligible young adults should be able to visit Israel to experience their birthright and we are pleased to offer approximately ten Accessibility/Special Needs trips annually for participants with a variety of developmental and physical disabilities.
Birthright Israel Academic
Birthright Israel Academic is a new 13-day trip model, leveraging the impact of a traditional Birthright Israel trip with three academic credits from an Israeli university.
BICEP
Focused on enriching trip preparation, enhancing the participant experience in Israel, and facilitating post-trip engagement, the Birthright Israel Collaborative Enhancement Project (BICEP), offers its college-based participants deep and lasting connections with Israel.
Birthright Israel Fellows
Birthright Israel Fellows is an intensive educational training program for select cohorts of North American Madrichim (trip leaders).
Birthright Israel Institute for Tour Educators
The Institute for Tour Educators is the intensive professional development platform for Birthright Israel tour educators (guides).
Geopolitics Module
Birthright Israel has created an enriched module that aims to standardize and contextualize our educational approach to Geopolitics, including a two-hour presentation by an expert offering context and content, complemented by a two-hour experiential engagement session.
GLobal participants

Birthright Israel is committed to providing the gift to young Jews from around the world, such as from Brazil, France, and the Ukraine, to empower these young adults to forge personal relationships with Israel, the Jewish people, and their own Jewish identity.
Mifgash (Encounter)
The Mifgash is a unique element of the Birthright Israel experience in which Diaspora and Israeli participants spend quality time together as peers.
Max Steinberg (z”l) Memorial Fund
We seek to raise funds to honor and celebrate the legacy of Max Steinberg (z”l) Birthright Israel alumnus, IDF soldier, and Mifgash participant who died during Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014.
