Centenary Bar & Brasserie at The REP is all about authentic seasonal British food served over looking the redeveloped Centenary Square in Birmingham. he REP’s conferencing and events facility, The SPACES, offers a range of superb and distinctive places to meet throughout our newly refurbished building. From custom-built conferencing suites and meeting rooms to open mezzanine and foyer spaces, we offer a wide range of options to suit everyone. On occasion, it’s even possible to use the three theatre auditoria themselves.

But you don’t have to hire the actual theatre to give your guests a feel for the theatrical. The unique experience of holding your conference or event within a working theatre’s environment presents many possibilities to connect to our work and our people.

Here are just a few possibilities: Back stage tours We offer Back Stage tours of the areas usually unavailable to the general public – this includes, the main stage, our beautiful rehearsal rooms, the workshop, wigs and wardrobe departments and actors’ dressing rooms.

Event ‘props’ We can also present you with ideas to bring a flavour of the theatrical to your booking such as; costume displays, drama workshops, or talks from our team of theatre industry specialists.

About The SUITES

N

ewly built in 2013, our three exible, highspeciďŹ cation suites overlook Centenary Square and provide a bright and conducive environment for your guests. The SUITES can be hired individually or combined to make a single spacious room for those who require particularly large spaces. A ceiling mounted projector is available for use when The SUITES are used in their entirety.

The SUITES are serviced by food specialists, Searcys, who also run the Centenary Bar and Brasserie at The REP, so catering can be delivered swiftly and easily to suit your requirements.

The SUITES also give access to an internal break-out balcony offering views over the impressive new Library of Birmingham foyer and across to the open air amphitheatre in Centenary Square, nestled within landscaped gardens.

Each of The SUITES is fully equipped with WiFi access, 47 inch plasma screens for your presentation content, and technical support services provided by our team of audio visual specialists. Additional equipment can be sourced via our team at The REP or brought in by the client directly.

About The ROOMS

W

ithin the footprint of The REP’s original building, we offer four self-contained meeting rooms for hire. These unique rooms are ideal for use as break out spaces in support of a larger event in The SUITES; for those who require a more intimate meeting space, or for individuals seeking a creative working environment or temporary city centre offices within which to focus on a particular project or meet clients.

These self-contained rooms are fully equipped with Wifi, office furniture, comfortable lounge seating, refreshment areas and views over Centenary Square through The REP’s famed arched windows.

he REP is a producing theatre creating sets, costumes, wigs and props from within its Centenary Square building. This dynamic environment offers many interesting and creative possibilities for space hire and event enhancement to those who prefer a more explicitly theatrical experience for their guests.

Opportunities to ponder include: exclusive use of our stunning mezzanine area, its sweep of arched windows offer clear views of Birmingham city centre. Custom built mobile bars on the mezzanine give the ultimate flexibility throughout the space. Or our distinctive foyer with its grand piano, bar and direct connection to the new Centenary Bar and Brasserie.
