MATERIALS:

• Birch x Gütermann Portofino Fabric.

• Cotton T-shirt

• Heat n Bond Ultrahold (011514)

• Scissors (BK1110)

• Oliso Iron (171017)

• Brother Scan n Cut (059150)

METHOD:

1. Prewash and iron fabric pieces.

2. Cut out your design and trace it onto the paper side of the Heat n Bond Ultrahold.

3. Preheat the iron to a medium heat setting.

4. Cut a piece of applique fabric slightly bigger than your design.

5. Iron the sticky side of the Heat n Bond Ulteahold to the wrong side of the applique fabric (following the instructions on the package).

6. Carefully cut out your design with scissors.

7. Peel the backing paper to reveal the sticky side of the Heat n Bond Ultrahold.

8. Place the design adhesive side down onto your project and press for 8 seconds (for cotton fabric) until fully bonded.

9. Viola - You are done!

Tip: Use a rajah cloth while pressing to help disperse iron heat across the applique for an even adhesive transfer.

Note: DO NOT SEW. If sewing is required use Heat n Bond Lite (purple packaging).
