HOOKS AND EXTRAS
A 4.00mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain correct tension. A yarn needle; Optional 50cm elastic for pants.
TENSION
19 dc and 21 rows to 10cm over dc fabric, using 4.00mm hook.

PANTS
Front (beg at crotch)
Using 4.00mm hook, make 19ch.
1st row -Miss 1 ch, 1 dc in each ch to end = 18dc. 2nd row -1 ch, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, 2dc in next st, 1 dc in each st to last 3 sts, 2dc in next st, 1 dc in each of last 2 sts = 20dc.
3rd row - 1 ch, 1 dc in each st to end. Rep last 2 rows until there are 30dc.
Rep 2nd row only until there are 50dc. Place a marker each end of last row. Work 14 rows dc, dec one st in centre of last row = 49 sts.
Next row (eyelets) - (1dc, 2ch) in first st,* miss next st, 1 htr in next st, 1 ch, rep from * to last st, 1 htr in last st. Next row - 1 ch, 1dc in each st to end. Fasten off.
Back (beg at crotch)
With RS facing and using 4.00mm hook, join yarn to beg ch of Front at crotch, with a sl st and work along other side of ch as foils -1ch, 1dc in each ch to end = 18dc.
1st row - 1ch, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, 2dc in next st, 1dc in each st to last 3 sts, 2dc in next st, 1 dc in each of last 2 sts = 20dc. Rep last row until there are 36dc. Work 1 row dc.
Rep last 2 rows until there are 50 sts. Place a marker each end of last row.
Work 14 rows dc, dec one st in centre of last row = 49 sts. Next row (eyelets) - (1dc, 2ch) in first st,* miss next st, 1htr in next st, 1ch, rep from * to last st, 1 htr in last st. Next row - 1ch, 1dc in each st to end. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Using a flat seam, join side seams to markers. Tie -Using 4.00mm hook make a length of ch approx 80cm long.
Next row -Miss first st, 1dc in each st to end. Fasten off. Thread tie or optional elastic through sps at top. Sew in ends.

Using 4.00mm hook, make 142ch.

3rd row - 4ch, 1tr in 1ch sp of 1trcl, 1ch, 1tr in next tr,* (1ch, 1tr in next tr) 4 times, 1ch, 1tr in 1ch sp of 1trcl, 1ch, 1tr in next tr, rep from * to last st, 1 ch, 1 tr in last st.

Divide for left back - Next row -1 ch, 1 dc in each of next 25 sts, make 7ch (sleeve).
Next row - Miss first ch, 1 dc in each of next 6ch, 1 dc in each st to end. Work 19 rows de on these 31 sts for left back and sleeve.
Shape back neck - Next row - 1 ch 1 dc in each of next 22 sts, turn
Work 1 row dc on these 22 sts. Fasten off.
Front
Make 6ch (sleeve), with RS facing, 1dc in each of next 50 sts, make 7ch (sleeve), turn
Next row - Miss 1ch, 1dc in each of next 6ch, 1dc in each st to last 6ch, 1 dc in each of last 6ch = 62dc.
Work 13 rows de on these 62 sts.
Shape front neck - Next row -1 ch, 1 de in each of next 22 sts, turn
Work 7 rows de on these 22 sts for right front neck. Fasten off.
With RS facing miss next 18 sts, join yam to next st, with a sl st. Work 8 rows de on these 22 sts for left front neck. Fasten off.
Right Back
With RS facing make 6ch,(sleeve), then work - 1dc in each of last 25 sts.
Next row - 1ch, 1dc in each st to beg of ch, 1dc in each ch to end = 31 sts.
Work 19 rows de on these 31 sts for right back and sleeve.
Shape back neck - SI st across next 9 sts, 1ch, 1dc in each st to end.
Work 1 row de on these 22 sts. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Using a flat seam join shoulder seams. Using 4.00mm hook, beg and ending at top of skirt, work 1 row dc evenly around neck edge and back opening and working 3 button holes evenly along right back edge. Fasten off.
Neckband - With RS facing join yam to left back neck edge, with a sl st, working around neck edge only, work as foll:
Next row - 3ch, * miss 1st, 1htr in next st, 1ch, rep from * to last st, 1 htr in last st. Fasten off. Join sleeve seams.
Sew in all ends.
