Billie 50g
5 x balls 1st Colour (C1-Ivory #01)
6 x balls 2nd Colour (C2-Shale #02)
6 x balls 3rd Colour (C3-Ash #08)
4 x balls 4th Colour (C4-Pewter #16)
NEEDLES AND EXTRAS
A 7mm circular needle or size that gives correct tension. A yarn needle.
TENSION
14 sts and 21 rows to 10 cm over moss st, using 7mm needles and 2 strands of yarn together.
BLANKET
Using 7mm circular needle and 2 strands of C1 tog, cast on 141 sts.
Note – Work in rows, not rounds.
Using 2 strands of C1 tog, 1st row (RS) –K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end.
Last row forms moss st when repeated. Cont in moss st until work measures 15 cm from beg, working last row on WS. Break off 1 strand of C1
Using 1 strand of C1 and 1 strand of C2 tog, cont in moss st for 15 cm, working last row on WS. Break off C1
Using 2 strands of C2 tog, cont in moss st for 15 cm, working last row on WS. Break off 1 strand of C2.
Using 1 strand of C2 and 1 strand of C3 tog, cont in moss st for 15 cm, working last row on WS.
Break off C2.
Using 2 strands of C3 tog, cont in moss st for 15 cm, working last row on WS. Break off 1 strand of C3
Using 1 strand of C3 and 1 strand of C4 tog,
cont in moss st for 15 cm, working last row on WS. Break off C3.
Using 2 strands of C4 tog, cont in moss st for 15 cm working last row on WS.
Using C4, cast off loosely in moss.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends towards centre of blanket.
