SHORT LETS NOT PERMITTED IN BANANA ISLAND

The BIPORAL Administration has prohibited Short-lets and Airbnb rentals within the Banana Island Estate This restriction has been put in place to protect the integrity of our community and help property owners and homeowners maintain a sense of stability and security.

Short-lets and Airbnb have become increasingly popular in Lagos, as individuals, travelers are on the look for accommodation that offers a more unique and affordable experience than the traditional hotels This has attracted suspicious activities and a transient population that do not adhere to the Estate rules and regulation.

PET WASTE CLEAN UP POLICY

Pet waste has become a major problem in the estate, most especially for residents who take evening strolls, long walks and other outdoor exercise In response to this issue the BIPORAL administrative office has implemented a pet waste clean up policy to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.

We urge all pet owners to clean up after their pets. By doing so residents show respect for their neighbors and the shared spaces within the estate. This will lead to a more pleasant living environment and help prevent conflicts or disputes between residents regarding pet waste issues

The mandate of BIPORAL administration is to preserve a peaceful and stable residential environment by discouraging aliens who can’t be fully vetted by the security apparatus of the estate

If you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this policy, it's best to reach out to the relevant authorities or management of the estate for clarification.

One easy and versatile meal option for busy moms are sandwiches. Sandwiches can be quick to prepare, easily customised to suit individual tastes, and are portable for the on-the-go meals. Here are some sandwich ideas that are perfect for busy moms looking for quick and easy meal options

The Grilled Cheese Sandwich, a combination of your favorite cheese, such as cheddar, Swiss, and Gouda, add in some caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor. Use thick slices of bread and spread a thin layer of mayo on the outside before grilling for a perfectly crispy crust.

The Caprese sandwich, add layers of fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and fragrant basil leaves between two slices of crusty wholegrain bread. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and a touch of olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. This sandwich is simple yet elegant, and the combination of flavours is sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

Growing up, my mother had always prepared our meals with an extra touch of onions There was no meal made in our home without chunks of onions sliced and diced inside My husband was just like me, he loved onions, so it was very normal for me, and I assumed my child would not have a problem seeing large chunks of onions in his meal Boy, was I wrong!

One Saturday morning, I served my 5 year old son fried eggs and bread. The fried eggs had large chunks of onions, tomatoes, green pepper and carrots, “Mummy why do you keep doing this?’’ that was my son’s statement, “You keep adding these big annoying veggies that smell funny to our meals, why?’’ , Don’t you like it ? I sheepishly asked, “No mummy, it is getting annoying’’ he sadly said and left the dinning room

Then I realized, he had been managing the meals all these years and just got fed up one Saturday morning In all honesty, I always thought onions were every meal's golden ingredient. So I decided to do my research and discovered, most children do not like onions due to its strong and pungent flavor, the taste can be overwhelming. For young taste buds that are still developing they might find the taste too intense, the texture of onions can also be a factor, the slippery texture can be unappealing to some children

“Please mummy, I don't want to see or smell large chunks of onions in my meal’’ This is a reminder I get before he leaves for school, when he gets back or when he meets me in the kitchen

Dear Mothers, my son has currently put a ban on onions in our home till further notice.
