LAWN TENNIS COURTS WILL NOW OPEN FOR ESTATE COMMUNITY MEMBERS JULY 2024

Calling all Lawn Tennis Lovers, we are delighted to announce that our estate's lawn tennis courts will be open for all residents by 3rd July 2024. This initiative and commitment was supported by the BIPORAL Executives led by the Chairman, Mr Frank Aiyegbogun Their goal remains to foster a strong sense of community on Banana Island.

The Lawn Tennis Court is located within the estate, at the end of Second Avenue popularly known as Bamisoro The tennis courts is of International standards with premium-quality surfaces, professional-grade nets, and comfortable spectator seating, ensuring a topnotch playing experience for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner, these courts provide the perfect setting for both casual play and competitive matches.

The lawn tennis courts are set to become a hub of activities, hosting various events such as community tournaments and tennis workshops Court 1 will be available for lawn tennis lovers on Mondays to Sundays, while Court 2 will be available for basketball enthusiasts on Mondays to Wednesdays and Thursdays to Sundays for lawn tennis. The court will open between the hours of 6 am -10 pm daily.

We invite all residents to come and experience the lawn tennis courts Whether you're looking to engage in some healthy exercise, develop your tennis skills, or simply enjoy a fun game with friends and neighbors, these courts are the perfect place to do so. Let's make the most of this wonderful new facility and strengthen our community bonds through the joy of tennis.

GET READY FOR THE BIPORAL ELECTION OCTOBER 2024

We are pleased to inform all residents that the guidelines for the upcoming elections were officially released during the general meeting held on the 1st of June 2024. This meeting was a crucial step in ensuring a transparent, fair, and well-organized electoral process.

The Election Committee has been working diligently to prepare comprehensive guidelines that will cover all aspects of the election, from candidate nominations to voting procedures. These guidelines are designed to provide clear instructions and ensure that all community members have the necessary information to participate effectively in the election

Key points that were addressed in the guidelines include:

1. Eligible Vote: 1 Vote per Household.

Nomination Process: Detailed instructions on how to nominate candidates, including eligibility criteria and submission deadlines.

All other rules about the election process will be communicated on a later day by the electoral committee. Your involvement is vital to the success of our electoral process and the continued growth and development of our community. We are excited to announce the completion and official handover of the highly anticipated Banana Island Recreation Park to our vibrant community which was made possible by our partners Providus Bank. After months of dedicated planning and construction, the park is now ready to welcome visitors of all ages to enjoy its wide array of amenities and natural beauty.

Situated at the end of Second Avenue, The Recreation Park is designed to be a sanctuary of peace and outdoor enjoyment The park features an extensive network of walking trails, scenic picnic areas, grill stands, smoking areas and beautifully landscaped gardens.
