Becky Mitchell plays Bingo at Germantown American Legion Post 1 N120 W15932 Freistadt Rd. She was recently the lucky winner of a $2,962.00 Progressive Jackpot. Post 1 recently expanded their play to include the high payout game. It sure is a big hit with the players.

Farewell To a Great Man

Dr. Raymond Maguire died Sunday evening August 19, 2018 at his home in Virginia surrounded by his wife Joan, children and family. You may recognise him as a featured Bingo Bugle poet from the Poetry Corner, professionally his illustrious career included his work as Director of Hematopathology and Transfusion Service at St. Francis Hospital in Oklahoma. He was a pathologist at Deaconess Hosptal in Boston and associate professor at Harvard Medical School. Since his retirement he has been an avid writer, swimmer and banjo player. His poems were published in the pages of the Bingo Bugle in August and October of 2017 and May of 2018.

Why Buy Soil - Make it Lasagna’s Not Just Pasta, Let’s Play Ball and Round Ball Park are some of his poems. Permission will be requested to continue bringing his poems to you. Dr. Maguire’s autobiography will be published soon. It is sure to be delightfully interesting.

Bingo operations need to realize that something like parking, which they may not give much thought to, could actually be discouraging people from going to their games and mean less money for them.

An Avalanche of Bingos Dear Aunt Bingo: What is the most number of Bingos on one game that you have witnessed in person? This spring at BJ’s Bingo in Fife, Washington, there were 338 Bingos on one game.

The game was one vertical line Bingo plus one horizontal line Bingo on the same card. (You had to have both.) Well, the Bingo caller pulled 31 numbers, but still no ‘I’ ball. There were 13 Ns called, 6 Bs, 6 Gs and 6 Os. The 32nd number was I-23, and there were 338 winning Bingo cards.

It was so bad that the Bingo caller joked: “If you don’t have a Bingo, raise your hand!”

—James Metzler, Tacoma, Washington Dear James: In all my years, I’ve never seen such a thing happen. I’ve seen 10 or 12 tops, but never 338!

I am curious to know what the jackpot was and how they paid it out. Technically, all jackpots must be awarded, and I could see a handful of players demanding their 11 cents. (Hey, a win is a win!)

I also feel badly for those folks who didn’t Bingo. Can you imagine sitting there in a sea of jackpot sharers spread in all directions, and you are one of a handful of big fat losers who couldn’t even win a piece of a 338-winner prize?

That experience is enough to make you want to re-evaluate your entire Bingo-playing philosophy.

—Aunt Bingo Dear Aunt Bingo: I wish the people at Bingo would do something about the parking.

Not all the places are a problem.

A school where I play and also some churches have really big lots so you can park away from the crowd if you don’t mind walking a few extra yards—which I don’t.

But there are too many places that simply do not have enough room, which is bad enough in the summer and even worse come winter when the snow piles make the lots even smaller.

I think it would be good if the people who run Bingo could put a person or two outside to maybe direct traffic, keep things organized and stop people from parking every which way or taking up extra space. Arranging for extra parking somewhere nearby could be good too, seeing as most Bingo is in the evening when some places are closed for the night and don’t need their parking lots.

Dear JG: I HATE cramped parking! And I have to confess, I am a terrible parker and often am the very person who drives you crazy with their crooked parking and space hogging. Please understand, it’s really not on purpose. I just can’t ever figure out when my tires are straight or at an angle during parking maneuvers, so I’m usually left at some weird angle that I just give up on and leave as is. Sorry.

You know what would be wonderful? A Bingo parking valet!

Some nice fellow someone like me can hand his or her car keys to and let him deal with squeezing into those little spaces.

I often follow a trick I learned from a friend of mine who always gets to Bingo early and backs into a good parking spot that has two unoccupied spaces on either side.

At the end of Bingo she stays in her seat and chats with friends for a while, and lets the lot empty out before she heads to her car. It’s a great system. —Aunt Bingo Share your views! More Protections for Home Loans One of our veterans benefits is help with buying a home. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a new policy that protects veterans from predatory lenders when we refinance loans.

The lending industry has some bad actors who pull scams on home buyers, adding extra interest, fees and multiple expenses, and more. The new policy calls a halt to all that, adding to the list of protections we already have when buying a home with a VA guaranteed loan.

For example, lenders must provide us with a comparison of what we already have and what we propose to get in a refinance.

This needs to include, among other things, a comparison of the monthly payments so we can see what we actually will save.

If you have a fixed rate and are

refinancing for another fixed rate, that rate must be at least 0.50 less. If you have a fixed rate and are refinancing for an adjustable rate, that rate must be at least 2.00 less.

Modifications to homes for disabled veterans are available for certain service-connected disabilities. The VA will help by giving up to $81,000 for those modifications under Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) grants.

To learn more, go online to www. va.gov and search for “adapted housing grants.” Another type of grant, Special Housing Adaptation (SHA) grant, can help in other ways, with a $16,217 cap. If a veteran needs a ramp or widened doorways, these grants can help.

But a heads up — SAH grants are limited to 30 veterans a year, and all the money is gone for fiscal 2018. For next year, check eligibility requirements and apply early.

PICKS OF MONTH

THE

READY PLAYER ONE (PG-13) — Almost 30 years in the future, the real world has devolved into slums. Most residents take refuge in a communal virtual reality experience called the OASIS, a wonderland filled with unlimited possibility and hidden treats called Easter Eggs. The creator of this paradise designs a game to posthumously award control of the OASIS to his deserving successor.

Ty Sheridan plays a gamer named Wade (aka Parzival) who manages, alongside a cadre of other rogue players, to capture the leaderboard in pursuit of the prize. It’s chocka-block full of 1980s references.

Although it’s based on the 2010 Ernest Cline novel, director Steven Spielberg made plenty of changes for the film — all with the author’s approval, of course.

OPERATION RED SEA (NR) — Chinese director Dante Lam’s Operation Red Sea follows the heroic exploits of the Jiaolong Assault Team, China’s special forces brigade. Somali pirates threaten a cargo ship in the Red Sea, and with Chinese lives at stake, the eight-person strike force must swoop in and save the day. Then, as civil war destabilizes a country in the region, the force evacuates the embassy while foiling a weapons deal attempted by terrorists. Zhang Yi plays Yang

LITTLE PINK HOUSE (NR) — Ripped from the headlines, although maybe not the front page, Little Pink House follows the case of Susette Kelo (Catherine Keener), an ordinary Connecticut paramedic whose tiny slice of America — a little pink house with a river view in a working-class area — puts her in the David position to the Goliath that is big pharma and the statehouse. Real estate maven Charlotte Wells (Jeanne Tripplehorn) pilots a plan to snap up homes for redevelopment in a run-down area, including luxury condos and a new plant for Pfizer, but Kelo is a holdout. She organizes and petitions her case all the way to the Supreme Court.

THE CON IS ON (R) — Harriet (Uma Thurman) and Peter (Tim Roth) are just a couple of sleek and interesting British con artists who owe a vicious gangster (Maggie Q) a ton of cash and are looking to score their restitution by stealing an expensive jewel from Peter’s exwife. The star power is impressive (along with Roth and Thurman, there’s Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry, Parker Posey, Sofia Vergara and Alice Eve), but the con is actually off, because something is just not working: too-cool characters with off-putting moral fiber, literal gallons of alcohol imbibed, eye-rolling or just inconsiderate comedic riffs and none of the good heist moments this genre is supposed to be offering.

Tai Chi Bingo We had a hot game going at our local Bingo hall when my pal Shawn grabbed at his back and uttered a moan.

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Oh, I don’t know. My back just keeps seizing up at odd times. I never know when to expect it.”

He rubbed at a spot on his back and grimaced. “Usually Bingo will divert me so I don’t feel anything, but it is not working tonight.”

“I’ve got some pain killers if that will help,” I offered.

“Thanks,” he replied “but I don’t like to take palliatives. I like to get at whatever is causing the pain.

I go to an acupuncturist if it gets too bad.”

Someone Bingoed and we moved to a new game.

“I can give you a rub if that will help.”

“I think winning might help,” he laughed. “But don’t worry about it.”

Wendy wandered over at

SEPTEMBER 2018 intermission and offered raw veggies, her personal cure-all. We crunched and Wendy observed, “Wouldn’t it be neat if we could do something as much fun as Bingo and it could be healthy at the same time.”

I agreed and we decided to figure out a way for Bingo to help your back feel better. We could advertise this new benefit.

My friend Harry was the one who came up with the idea of stretching during intermission. And he just stood right up and started leading everyone in stretches!

He had us put our hands on our hips and lean gently from side to side. Then he had us lean our arms over in front and roll gently forward to where we were almost touching our toes. After that he had us reach and reach, rise up on our toes, roll our heads and shoulders, raise our knees; I could not imagine easier or more rewarding exercise and we all started to feel energized.

“Wait,” I said, struck with a new idea. “We could name these stretches like Bingo game patterns.”

“Yes,” agreed Wendy, “Like the diagonal could be called the Long Stretch.”

“Or the big X could be the Double Stretch” someone added.

“The double Hollywood could be the Shoulder Roll,” Wendy chimed in. “And we could advertise them in our program and promotions” she added.

“How come you started leading the stretches, Harry?” I asked.

Harry said these stretches always helped him, so he decided he might as well stand up and get

others to stretch along with him.

“You performed a superb service,” I told him. “Where did you learn these exercises?”

“They are some of the warm-up stretches for Tai Chi,” he said. “It is a wonderful form of exercise. You really should try it. Some folks, even old folks, do it every day.”

I’m not big on discipline of any sort, but I think I’ll give it a try just for fun.

Meanwhile Bingo starts up again and it is even more fun after those head and shoulder rolls!

Budgeting Bad for the Bottom Line When my financial advisor suggested that I set up a budget it sounded like a good idea. He explained that I would have a lot more Bingo money if I set up a plan and stuck to it. For example, he told me to look first at little ways around the house where I could cut down on expenses, and then look at items on my list of monthly bills that could be eliminated or reduced. He allotted a certain amount of my income for each item and advised me to spend no more than the amount set for each expenditure.

Naturally I was anxious to share all this with my Bingo buddies and they had lots of good ideas too, about ways to save money I made a mental list.

1. Always turn the heat off when the a/c is running.

2. Chop off that long hair, Bev. Then you can wash it yourself and save yourself a bundle.

3. When you are driving and a downward hill lies ahead, take

SEPTEMBER 2018 your foot off the gas and coast.

You can coast further if you get a running start.

4. My son wasn’t too happy that two of the three light bulbs in his bedroom light fixture disappeared. I tried to explain that it doesn’t take three bulbs to light a room and that I needed to save money where I can. He had a couple suggestions, but I don’t want to part with my smart phone, games or my wine.

5. Coffee is still good, even if it is three hours old. You can add a cup or two of water to the well and it freshens up the old coffee.

6. Avoid the casino…sort of.

7. Be wary of sales at the grocery store. When I met Marge there she looked at my cart and asked why I bought six boxes of baking powder.

Come to think of it, I wonder too.

I’ve never baked anything in my life, but it was such a good price.

After three months of living in the austerity of a monastery, my life got complicated. The power company wanted a hundred dollars to turn the furnace back on. I got a speeding ticket, and the officer didn’t believe me when I told him I didn’t have my foot on the gas pedal so I couldn’t have been speeding. When I met friends on the street they weren’t sure if I was Bev, or just a girl with a Mohawk.

My son threatened to move out of this “dark house.” If he moves, how would I get to Bingo and who would pick me up and take me home?

Marge won’t stop by for coffee anymore. She’s trying to say my coffee is old and weak.

My cupboard is full of stuff I will never use, purchased only because the sale price was so great.

Now my bank account hasn’t improved one dollar and my financial advisor wants to be paid for his awesome advice

Thanks For All the E-Mails I love getting mail at bobonbingo@ earthlink.net. Since we talked last I received two interesting e-mails from two readers in the Midwest.

The first is from James. He writes: “I LOVE it when Bingo callers say the wrong thing. That is, as long as it does not have an effect on the outcome of the game.

For example, during a game of REVERSE blackout, the number on the monitor was O-67. But, the caller said, ‘Now, daub 0-76.’ It was a moment before he announced the correction. By this time, many of us were in stitches.

Some, not too familiar with the game, were actually searching for O-76. Also, a caller, during the Block of Nine game, inadvertently said, ‘We are looking for a block of nine anywhere on your card... and you may use your free space.’

You know, Bob, I would like to see a Block of Nine that DOESN’T use the free space. Oh, and Bob, a question: What happens if the caller says one thing and the tote board (the kind you see in larger halls) says something else?”

Thanks for that report, James!

To answer your question, in many states, it is what comes out of the

caller’s mouth that is the actual call. The tote board is there ONLY as a courtesy. It becomes worse when the caller puts the ball into the wrong hole, lighting the wrong number.

Now, here’s a great e-mail from Jim in Kentucky. I remember meeting him while playing Bingo at a hotel in Palm Springs, California. Jim sent me a copy of an informational sheet that is handed out before each session at his venue, a Bingo hall run for decades by a local civic club.

Jim, I wish I could reprint it here. I know it took a lot of work to put it together. Jim’s infor mational sheet contains representations of all the patterns used during the games, a set of rules, some common sense ideas and the cost of the buy-ins and the payouts. It is the most concise and simple rules sheet I have ever seen. If you’d like a copy of it, e-mail me.

And Jim’s info sheet brings up another matter. If you run a Bingo venue, please don’t take for granted that everyone there knows all the rules and the combinations. Often new people DO show up. I regularly play at a place where nothing is explained. I love it there, but the first few times I played were real learning experiences. It should not be that way. Please remember the “newbies.” After all, we DO need to attract new players, don’t we?

Bingo Sickness Hi Guy, I hope you will share this letter in your column which I am writing to all the future sick people out there who don’t have enough sense to stay home when they are ill so they will get better sooner and in the meantime not infect other people while they are sick.

During the fall and especially during the winter, it seems like social gathering places like Bingo halls are more like hospital wards than places to play Bingo.

Why are people so thoughtless about coming to Bingo and sneezing and coughing their germs all over everyone? I just don’t get it.

First of all, when you’re sick, it takes so much extra energy to even get up and go out of the house.

Second, every doctor on Earth says the number-one remedy for an illness is rest. Why don’t people follow doctors’ orders, stay home, rest and get better?

I can understand to a degree when someone goes to work when they are not well. They may have pressing work schedules they must follow, staff to supervise, limited sick time, etc. But going to Bingo is certainly not a necessity or a requirement. And a Bingo hall is a closed, confined space where every cough and sneeze is going to release germs that circulate and circulate through the room and potentially infect every person there. Why would an ill person want to do that? Are they also mentally ill?

Another part of this is that when you are sick, your brain is foggy and you do not think as clearly as when you are well. It is certainly unsafe for a person with a cloudy brain (from illness or medication)

SEPTEMBER 2018 to be behind the wheel of a vehicle driving to Bingo. The same is true for when you are at Bingo trying to concentrate on all those numbers and patterns to win the games.

Chances are you will not be able to focus and will miss numbers and lose. Why waste your money and time? Go home and stay home!

Nobody likes being sick. And maybe it is just human nature to be stubborn about an illness and decide that it is not going to keep YOU down and you head out to places and activities to prove that you are stronger than the virus that is messing up your system.

Meanwhile, you are making yourself miserable as well as those around you miserable as you sneeze and cough your way through your day and spread your germs to others.

Go home. Stay home. Get better.

We’ll save you a seat at Bingo for when you are well again.

—Health Nut, Oregon Hi Health Nut, A few factoids to help support your case: * A cough or sneeze can spread germs up to 200 feet; * A sneeze can contain 200 million virus particles; * Germs can stay alive in the air for up to 45 minutes or more; * Sick people are snotty and gross (OK, that’s more of a personal opinion).

As a bit of a germaphobe, I can appreciate the message your email is passing along: Catch a cold or flu? Go home, stay home, take care of yourself and get better.

Obviously, even when you’re sick, there are going to be responsibilities you are unable to avoid: job, school, appointments, family responsibilities and so on.

But the vast majority of others— movies, dining out, shopping, Bingo, etc.—can easily be back burnered so that 1, you get better sooner and 2, you aren’t spreading your germs to the general population.

I’ve actually wondered—when I’ve been at some outing like Bingo and there is a person there who is clearly under the weather and sneezing and coughing up a storm—if it is appropriate for

someone in charge to politely approach the sick person and ask them to leave?

I suspect not: They’ve paid their money, Bingo has begun, and being ill is not a crime. But then again, the ill player could be considered disruptive to everyone within his or her 200-foot sneeze zone, so maybe there are grounds?

And what if there are two or three sickos in the place. Should they all get the boot?

This certainly sounds like an issue beyond anything Bingo hall management can deal with.

Q: I really would like to color my dog’s hair. “Sheera” is an allwhite poodle mix, and when she’s groomed and coiffed she looks better than purebred poodles However, I’ve seen news reports that dyeing a dog’s coat could be dangerous. Can you tell me if it’s safe?

A: Using hair dye made for humans is very dangerous for all pets. Chemicals in hair dye can be life threatening, as a Florida pet owner found out earlier this year. Not only can the pets’ skin react to the chemicals, but dogs and cats tend to lick at any area that irritates them, and then they ingest the dye.

It may be possible to dye Sheera’s hair using food coloring. Also, special semi-permanent hair dyes and sprays for pets are available at many pet stores, as are special chalks that can be rubbed onto their fur. These wash off in one or two shampoos.

Like any topical treatment, however, your dog could have a reaction to any of these products, even though they’re listed as nontoxic.

Further, some animal advocates feel that dyeing a pet’s fur can be stressful for them. If Sheera isn’t used to the process, she certainly could get upset and stressed out.

If she has a tough time at the groomer’s, she probably won’t like the dyeing process either.

Remember, Sheera is a beautiful dog even without that funky color.

Blackjack Misinformation It amazes me how many blackjack players believe the misinformation dispensed by fellow players, and even dealers, about the game of blackjack. Here is a reminder of just a few of these nuggets of misinformation.

“Picture Cards Always Follow Picture Cards.”

Some players will refuse to hit their stiff hands if they just saw a picture card come out of the shoe. The reason: they believe that “a picture card always follows a picture card.” Clearly that can’t be the case and, in fact, the opposite is true, namely that once you see a picture card the chance that the next card will be a picture card has decreased. The reason? If you just saw a picture card there must be less of them in the un-played deck of cards, meaning your chances of drawing another has decreased (not increased).

“Always Figure the Dealer Has a 10 in the Hole.”

Really? In a standard deck of 52 cards there are 16 ten-valued cards (the four tens, jacks, queens, and kings). That leaves 36 nonten valued cards left in a deck. So roughly only 31% of the cards in a deck are “tens” and 69% are nontens. Basically, there are roughly twice as many non-tens as tens, so it is more likely that the dealer will have a non-ten in the hole rather than a ten. Got it?

“That Third Baseman is Killing Me.” Many players believe the play of the third base player can “bring down” the entire table. Some honestly believe that the third base player should “sacrifice has hand” for the good of his fellow players.

SEPTEMBER 2018 The reality is this: it really doesn’t matter how your fellow players, including the third baseman, play their hands; no question the outcome of the round could be different if the third baseman takes a card when he shouldn’t, but his lack of skills could just as well result in everyone winning their hand as losing their hands.

In the long run it’s a wash, and your chance of winning and losing aren’t going to change. You may not like to hear this, but you could play with six chimpanzees and your chance of ultimately winning and losing will not be affected.

“Always Insure the Good Hands.”

Most players will insure a 1010 but never a 5-3. Guess what?

Insuring the 20 is a worse play than insuring an 8. Why? Because when you make the insurance bet you are betting that the dealer has a ten in the hole (for a blackjack).

The fact that you are holding two ten-value cards (with your 20) means the chance that the dealer’s hole card is a ten is less than if you held a 5-3. Insurance is a bad bet, but it’s an even worse bet when you hold a “good hand.”

“Don’t Mess with the Order of the Cards.”

Many players cringe when a new player enters a game in mid-shoe.

Why? Because the order of the cards that will be dealt to players changes and they believe that this works against the players. This of course is nonsense. You don’t know what the order of the cards is in the shoe and if a new player changes the order, it could help you as much as hurt you. The order of the cards is not sacred!

“Press your Luck.”

Many players who win two or three hands in a row will start pressing (or increasing) their bets to take advantage of their luck. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but just because you won the previous two or three hands, this has no bearing on your chances of winning the next hand. The odds of winning any hand at blackjack is roughly 42% regardless of how many hands that you just won.

So “pressing your luck” might be a fun thing to do, but it isn’t going to win you more money in the long run (in fact, by betting more money you expose more of your bankroll to the house edge).

What's News in Nevada . . .

OLD TIMERS REMEMBER A recent article in a major Las Vegas publication looked back at what some say was the “birth” of poker tournaments as we know them today. The story marked the 49th edition of the World Series of Poker, played at the Rio. Many reminisced about the first event, held back in 1970 at Binion’s Horseshoe. Over the years the pots and the players changed. This time around more than 78-hundred took part. The buy-in for the big event was $10-thousand. The prize pool totaled more than $74-million.

HOOP STAR ARREST The recent arrest of former New York Knicks star Charles Oakley was a main topic of discussion in Las Vegas. Oakley, according to court records, was accused of gambling fraud after a wager at a Las Vegas casino. The former basketball standout was arrested at the Cosmopolitan casino-resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Official information showed that the arrest was made on suspicion of committing or attempting to commit a fraudulent act in a gaming establishment.

OVERHAUL CONTINUES AT PALMS It’s being touted as a two-thirdsof-a-billion-dollar renovation at the Palms in Las Vegas. In recent weeks the facility has begun to unveil more and more of the finished product. The latest

revamp to be highlighted was the addition of a $40,000-per-night villa. The super-posh digs are said to be able to accommodate up to 52 guests. The villa is just one of several very upscale additions to the Palms, which was built in 2001.

HOTEL GETS ‘PERSONAL TOUCH’ ROBOTS The next time you order via room service at the Vdara Hotel in Las Vegas, you might be greeted at your room door by a fooddelivering robot. According to published reports, the two robots, named Fetch and Jett, will get some help from traditional human workers. Staff members still have to prepare the orders and load them onto the wheeled robots. The robots are programmed to make their way to the proper room. The hotel promises that Fetch and Jett won’t be bumping into people along the way.

E-SPORTS MAY BE WAVE OF THE FUTURE The latest gaming complex to adopt the so-called “E-Sports” craze is the Rio, just off the Strip in Las Vegas. The facility is promising a 24-thousand-square-foot Wall Gaming Lounge. A press release from the casino says that players will be part of an “immersive gaming experience.” The décor will feature what is being touted as “graffiti artwork.” The motif is said to have been inspired by some of the latest video games.

Play Lucky/Cash Ball? Maybe Not? Grandparents are usually free to love, guide, and befriend the young without having to take daily responsibility for them. They can often reach out past pride and fear of failure and close the space between generations.

–Jimmy Carter Reminder, September 9th is Grandparents Day. This annual observance began in 1970 when Marian McQuade, started a campaign to raise awareness about the value and contributions to society of senior citizens. In 1978 President Jimmy Carter declared the first Sunday after Labor Day to be National Grandparents Day. Each year thereafter, the current President has issued a proclamation to continue the tradition. My grandparents are long gone, but Robert and I have two cherub grandchildren that we adore most of the time. Hey, don’t judge us when we all know how grandkids can be—not to mention their parents, our children, which is another whole column.

Growing up, I did not realize that my grandmother who lived with us was a treasure trove of family history. I sorely regret that I did not talk with her more about her life experiences. All in all, she was a hoot and a force to be reckoned with to be sure. Married at nineteen to a man in his forties who had young children, she bore him several more before becoming a relatively young widow in her fifties. She never remarried and I

always wondered why. I realize now I could have asked that question and many more, but I can’t turn back time as Cher said years ago in her hit song. So, the lesson to be learned is talk with those you love and bridge the generation gap.

Start a conversation with your elders and they don’t even have to be related to you. There are plenty of lonely seniors out there who would love to talk with those who take the time to listen to them.

And vice versa. Grandparents and other elders, talk with young people. You just might learn a few things. An easy way to start that conversation is at bingo. What better way to build bridges and family ties than while enjoying a family friendly game where all are welcomed. Most places have easy to use computers to help those with hearing or vision problems or who have trouble recognizing bingo patterns.

On another note, my husband and I were recently in Vegas and as usual spent some time at bingo.

The lucky/cash ball at one casino was the highest I have ever read about…$68,000! Imagine winning that much money when one little bingo ball rolls out of the machine and that’s the number you need to win. That happened to me years ago and I won $11, 000 which I shared with another player.

I didn’t care as I still collected a chunk of money.

The lucky/cash ball costs only a dollar or two, but according to Michael Shackleford (wizardofodds.com) perhaps players should save their money and attend bingo games where the cash ball amount is smaller and therefore does not attract gobs of players.
