Wisconsin Edition Lydia Plays Bingo at Knights of Columbus in We’re Sad to South Milwaukee. She won the Sweepstakes! Report - United The best part of being a Seniors Bingo reporter for the Bingo Buis Closing gle is interviewing interesting and wonderful Bingo players. This month, our Sweepstakes Winner is Lydia Kaczmarek and she plays Bingo in South Milwaukee at the Knights of Columbus Council 1709 at 732 Badger Ave. We asked Lydia what was her favorite thing about Bingo, she said,”Winning of course”, then she gave us a little laugh and continued, “Most of all I enjoy being with all these nice people. Every week, I look for them and we all sit together and play Bingo, I just love that.” Getting back to talk about winning, Lydia told us about an exciting big win that she had. “Once I won a big pot at Saint Franciis Lions Club. It was $3,500 and boy-o-boy was that exciting.” We were interested to find out how often she’s able to play Bingo. She said,”Too often” and gave us another little chuckle. “I play Bingo at the Knights of Columbus every week and I have my reasons, I like the games that they play here and the place is bright and clean. They serve good food at a great price. A very important aspect is they have great callers who are happy people with a clear voice and you can easily understand the numbers they call. They call at an even rythm, not too fast, not too slow. Everybody is happy and friendly here and I just love it”. That’s quite a rousing endorsement of Knights of Columbus Bingo. If you want more information,

Council 1709 Grand Knight Tony Bloom (right) was happy to give her the prize. Their Bingo is open to the public and they play on Monday nights. Doors open at 4:00PM and Bingo starts promptly at 6:00 PM. Players really love KC 1709 Bingo. you can find their ad on Page 7 of this newspaper. Lydia is an avid reader of the Bingo Bugle. She enjoys reading the Horoscope along with other articles and she likes to see what Otis is up to. Why not meet up with Lydia at Knights of Columbus Bingo at 732 Badger Ave. in South Milwaukee for Monday Night Bingo. Tony Bloom had the privilege of awarding Lydia’s prize, Tony is the newly elected Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 1709. We understand that is an important and interesting position. Tony told us that after necessary costs are covered, the profits from Bingo go to the charitable donations of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights support many local charities including food pantries serving our neighbors, par-

ishes, missionaries, veteran organizations, young mothers and babies, Coats for Kids, families stricken by violent crime, persons with developmental challenges and many, many more. When you go for a fun night of Bingo at the Knights of Columbus you become a partner in the good works that they do. The dollars you spend do more than you’d believe, everything from helping to feed the hungry, diapers and formula for babies to helping relieve suffering. That is a Win, Win, Win situation. So, if you’re looking for a fun evening of Bingo on a Monday, you can’t do better than South Milwaukee Knights of Columbus. Join Lydia and Tony, you’ll be glad you did. To get the details, see the ad on Page 7 for Knights of Columbus.

We are sad to report that after many years of great Bingo and support to the community and veterans groups, United Seniors of Wisconsin has found it necessary to discontinue Bingo. We want to thank United Seniors for all the effort and the great things that they’ve done. Farewell United Seniors of Wisconsin Bingo.
