2023-2024 ANNUAL REPORT

2023-2024 ANNUAL REPORT
Binghamton University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has achieved significant milestones and celebrated remarkable successes over the past year. It is with great pride that I reflect on the outstanding contributions of our faculty, staff, and students, whose dedication continues to elevate our school and its impact on the profession. A few highlights from the past year include:
• The successful graduation of our first cohort of pharmacy technicians, addressing the critical shortage of skilled professionals in the Greater Binghamton area.
• A record-breaking 84 co-curricular events, offering unparalleled opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
• Exceptional post-graduate achievements, with students securing prestigious industry fellowships, PGY1 residencies, and PGY2 residencies.
• Faculty members earning regional and national recognition for their excellence in education, research, and clinical practice through awards from organizations such as APhA, ACCP, and AACP.
• A notable distinction of three faculty members being ranked among the Top 2% of researchers worldwide in their fields, as recognized by the Stanford University Study in 2023.
This annual report provides a comprehensive overview of our faculty’s impactful research presentations, publications, and funding achievements, highlighting the innovation and dedication that define our school.
We are proud of these accomplishments and remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing pharmacy education, fostering innovation, and nurturing the next generation of pharmacy professionals. Together, we are building a future of excellence and impact.
Sincerely,
Kanneboyina Nagaraju, DVM, PhD Dean and Professor
