Sun Worship "I gazed at the Sun; Closed my eyes, raised my hands, I saw My Soul's Shadow." What is the Sun? A star in our solar system. Can we touch it? Can we communicate with it? Maybe it is just a hologram in the sky. Many cultures and religions across history have claimed to 'know the sun'. The Afkan people of Ghana wore Sun Disks called Akrafokonmu. In the Shinto religion of Japan, Amaterasu is the sun goddess of the universe. The Tiv People of West Africa consider the Sun to be the son of the supreme being Awondo and the Moon to be Awondo's daughter. The Aztecs believed Tonatiuh was the leader of the heavens and the Fifth Sun. The first pharaoh of Egypt, Akhenaten, created the monotheistic religion of Atonism. Aton or Aten was the sun (god) from which all life comes from. Has there been Sun Worship amongst different crowns and royal families? Yes. Sun Worship in Ancient Bloodlines would be a good search term. Carl Sagan said we are all Star Dust. Plants and animals need Light and Water, so the Sun seems necessary. But public school textbooks say the energy (or light) we are receiving from the Sun is 1 million years old. There has been more research. The Electric Universe Theory is the idea that the Sun (and stars) derives the main sources of its power electrically from its surroundings, rather than from within by nuclear fusion. And as you get closer to the Sun (in space), the temperature actually starts to drop. Stop by ElectricUniverse.info to learn more. I took a close look at the Sun. On the Internet. Check out the YouTube clip of the Solar Anvil. You can also spend more time in the Sun (with proper, all-natural skin protection). Use your Power of Intention to gain more access to Information, Wisdom. The word is Enlightenment. -Biluxi
