Having conducted some in-depth primary research and building upon secondary data via the CSO (Central Statistics Office) of Ireland, the focus of this study examines the benefit of having a pension among Irish citizens. Throughout the process, we quickly realised that there was a wealth of data suggesting that the earlier one takes serious measures towards investing in a pension, the wealthier they will be later in life when the time comes for them to avail of their hard-earned pension savings and enjoy retirement to its fullest.
