Insufficient Settlement Leaves Players Few Options
The recent settlement discussions between players and the NFL concerning concussions have turned to whether the amount of compensation is adequate. Concerns over the amount have suggested the settlement won't come close to lasting the proposed 65 years the fund is supposed to last. With some being awarded large sums, the overall amount will quickly dwindle and possibly leave some or many with nothing. This sentiment has even been shared by the judge presiding over the case.
