New >97% Recycled PLA filament

FilaPrint rePLAy offers you the opportunity to work with a material that is identical in printing characteristics as regular PLA, though from a recycled waste stream, which on average is >97% recycled. The only difference you will find with this recycled PLA is that the colours (not Black or White) are not as bright as the same colour though non-recycled PLA filaments which are available on our store. However the recycling process does give them a unique hue!

POROLAY LAY-FOMM 40 & 60 by Kai Parthy of Germany is best characterized as foamy and highly porous. This material is made from a rubber-elastomeric polymer and a PVA-component. That means that part of this filament is water soluble. Once you rinse this material in water, the PVA component dissolves and the rubber polymer remains as your micro-porous object. LAY-FOMM 60 feels like soft rubber with holes and is therefore ideal for printing soft rubber-like objects, such as bendable suits and sponge-like objects, ink-reservoirs, bio- 107

cells, micro-foam and elastics. Lay-Fomm 40 for soft objects (~ 60 Shore A) and Lay-Fomm 60 (~ Shore A60) for slightly bending-rigid objects.

POROLAY LAY-FELT by Kai Parthy of Germany is a new filament which has felt-like features, it contains stiff and soft felt-fibers. This material is made from a elastomeric polymer and a PVA-component. That means that part of this filament is water soluble. Once you rinse this material in water, the PVA component dissolves and the elastomeric polymer remains as your stable fibrous object. The felty feature of this material makes it ideal for printing filters, 3D membranes, semipermeable membranes, artificial paper and bendable felty fabrics. LAY-FELT is also very suitable for use in water treatment membranes, or in electro-cells.

LayBrickby Kai Parthy of Germany is perfect for sculpture modelling and architectural pieces. Looks like a soft and smooth clay in its filament form. Can be printed to have a rough or smooth texture, depending on the temperature it is extruded by.

This incredible high filling with copper powders enables every FDM 3D printer user to 3D print copper objects which are almost indistinguishable from genuine copper.

t-glase PETG by taulman 3D - Strength - First, as it’s a taulman 3D industrial line, it has to be strong and we, along with our local testers and some selected industrial testers, are very pleased with the strength of t-glase, especially with the larger nozzles used on industrial units. FDA approved – t-glase is specifically made of FDA approved polymers for direct food contact/containers. This includes cups and other liquid storage parts as well as utensils. Environmental - While t-glase is not biodegradable like PLA, it is a material that’s considered 100% reclaimable. Thus the new “struders” that convert failed prints back to usable line work perfectly with t-glase. If you have a “struder”, you can actually mix in 12% of the total weight in discarded clear water bottles. Available in six colours.
