Provider Network Representative - KALISPELL Serves as a liaison between the Provider community and New West’s Operations/ Claims departments to proactively address provider needs and to resolve provider claims issues; responsible for providing customer service to Providers, including staffing the provider call queue, responding to Provider claims payment issues, and communicating NWHS provider reimbursement information. Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree in a healthcare related field. Requires a working knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology and managed care business processes, billing procedures, auditing principles, and medical office operations, and at least 3 years experience processing claims in a managed care environment. Certification in Medical Coding required. Provider Services Analyst – HELENA Ensures that all applicable systems reflect current and accurate provider information; that all provider claims process correctly according to contractual agreements and related system configuration; serves as a liaison between the Provider community and New West’s Operations/Claims departments to proactively address provider needs and to resolve provider claims issues. Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree in Medical Terminology, Computer Technology or a related field and at least 3 years of experience with any of these areas: managed care billing practices, health insurance, medical office, hospital business, or government billing and coding practices. Knowledge of Medicare benefits and reimbursement methodology is highly preferred.
