The Holidays To me the holiday’s mean spending time with my family. My mom will make yummy food. My dad will do a crazzy dance. I’ll make a nice wreaf for my mom and my dad.

I’ll spend time with my aunt ang grama, gramapa my brother and my sister and my mom and dad to! And that is how I’ll spend my holiday’s.

Beartooth Elementary 4th Grade Mrs. Heine

My favorite Christmas tradition is getting hot chocolate and looking at Christmas lights. My mom and sister and aunt go with me. We listen to Christmas music while we drive. My favorite part is when we go down Misfit lane. The coolest is the abominable smow monster. It is cool.

Jonah Neckels Some of my family’s favorite traditions are going to Sheridan or going to my Grandparent’s house Christmas morning. My favorite recipes are green bean casserole, cheesecake, yams and last but not least apple pie. For Christmas activities my family plays the Wii, goes sledding and plays the thankful game! On Christmas morning the weather is very cold, snowy, and it is sometimes raining out. What Christmas means to me: I do not only like it because of the gifts I like it because you get to spend time with your family! It means a whole lot to me!

Tristyn Fink My favorite time of season is winter when there is snow on the ground and it’s cold outside. It’s almost Christmas, my favorite time of the year. It’s my favorite time of the year because people are getting their Christmas trees up and my Grandma sends tamales and this it is my puppy Daisy’s first Christmas.

Every Christmas my family bakes cookies and plays games. Every Christmas Eve me and my family go to a Christmas Eve service. We also decorate our Christmas tree 12 days before Christmas. Another Christmas tradition my family does is to drink hot cocoa and watch TV. We also go around giving presents to certain people. We also write wish lists to our parents. Canyon Creek Elementary 1st Grade Miss Super

Turkey Go to Walmart and buy a turkey for $50. Cook it. Turn on the oven.

Add oil to make it juicer. Cook it for 1 hour. It makes a little beeping sound when it’s done. Take it out.

Cut it then eat it.

Ari Keeler Pretzel Dessert First you have jello, you make it. My mom has little packs with powder with other stuff because she has a recipe book. She digs her hands in the pretzels and adds them. Then she makes more jello.

She puts some pretzels on top and then that’s how you make a dessert called pretzel dessert.

Put a little bit of meat and then a little bit of oil. Stir it with a wixer or a mix. Warm it up in the microwave or in the oven for 30 minutes to 1 hour. When it’s light brown or yellow, it’s done. Let it cool and then eat it.

Then cook the potato and put it on a plate. Then put some white or brown gravy on it. Then you eat it.

Gregory Fitzpatrick Potatoes Buy 5 or 6 potatoes at Costco for $5 or $20. Go home and cook them. You have to put them in the oven for 35-20 minutes. The oven will make a beep sound and say end. Put butter on them and then eat.

Get in the car and buckle up and go home. The kinds we get is that salad kind and Canadian bacon with pineapple on it. Open up the boxes and eat both kinds.

I receive and give presents covered in wrapping paper with matching bows. I love Christmas because of many things, but mostly family. Sometimes my family exasperates me, but I still love them.

We only go to South Dakota every other year. We go to South Dakota when snow is on the ground and a chill is in the air. We go when most of the animals have settled down for the winter. We kwon Christmas is coming when my grandmother starts to make hundreds of cookies for everyone in my family. This delightful holiday makes me feel joyful.

We go to the city of Spearfish.

The five hour trip is worth it because of the great deal of fun when we get there. I am grateful for the time I spend in South Dakota. My grandma always has cookies waiting for us. I am fond of spending time in South Dakota.

I look forward to spending time in Spearfish. I love to celebrate Jesus’s birthday with my family. I do not have the opportunity to see my family in South Dakota often.

Traditions of Christmas At my dad’s house our tree is fake.

My Family Traditions Every year we have a real tree. We have a cloth under the tree. We also have angels that we can chose for on top of the tree. We always put white lights on the tree. We put on different kinds of ornaments.

On Christmas Day we open presents at our house. We open presents at our grandma’s when it is Christmas Eve. We take turns to open presents. To celebrate Jesus birth we dress good for church. We always put up our Nativity Scene with Baby Jesus in it. Jesus was born on Christmas.

I am going to show you how to make a snowball fight. Some people love snowball fights like me. Heres a tip use a sled to put snowballs on. First your going to need your materials. First you will need snow if it isn’t snowing try to make your own. Second get a sled to put snowballs on. Third get some friends who want to have a snowball fight. Then tell your friends to help build forts. Last fight! So I told you most of the stuff. So what you need to do is split the teams. Then fight!
