Canton Main Street 1st Annual Community Yard Sale Saturday, October 23, 2010 Join the fun on Saturday, October 23, 2010 (rain date is November 6, 2010), when the Canton Main Street Program will host a Community Yard Sale from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Cannon Park, in Canton. Participation in this event is open to the public. Each 10’ x 10’ space will be leased for $20.00. All proceeds will benefit the Canton Main Street program and will be used to promote downtown Canton. Canton Main Street will provide extensive advertising for the event. Rules and Regulations • Vendor is solely responsible for his/her actions and does release the Main Street Program from any and all claims or damages resulting from seller’s rental.
• An adult of at least 18 years of age must be present at each booth throughout the sale. • The 10’ x 10’ spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
• Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Canton from any and all claims or damages resulting from vendor’s rental.
• All items must be sold within the rented space and vendor is responsible for all items sold. • Vendor is responsible for providing his or her own tables, chairs, tents, etc.
• Registrations paid after October 18th will be $25.00. No refunds will be granted.
• Vendor is responsible for securing tents if used. The asphalt site will not allow staking.
• Vendor will be charged an additional $25.00 for any returned check.
• Vendor must remove all items and clear the yard sale grounds by 5:00 PM on the day of the sale. Vendor is responsible for cleanup around his/her space.
• Canton Main Street, Inc. reserves the right to terminate the lease of space, and immediately take possession of the leased space, if the seller violates any provision of the agreement. • Make checks payable to Canton Main Street, Inc., and mail to: Ginger Garrard, Main Street Program Director, 151 Elizabeth Street, Canton, GA 30114.
