PROPOSED FOUNDATION
According to the site analysis, the decision on the type of foundation enhancement work was to make between trench fill foundation and pile foundation. Since the existing building footprint is close to the irrigation system and tree, there is not enough space for trench fill foundation to fill in the mass concrete. Furthermore, pile foundation will be cheaper in cost for this case. Therefore, jack-in pile foundation was proposed after the reinforcement of existing foundation footing.

APPENDIX - ANIMATION https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i6CrY5DzXI As I doing my research on my design work, I take reference from a local sculptor in Alboraya – Enric Mestre. Which his work was inspired by the architectural space of the farmhouse area. So when I start to do my design, I try to treat it as a sculpture that based on the existing farmhouse and extend it. During that progress, I keep exploring the architectural design with similar language, and I found a book talk about one of the famous minimalist architect John Pawson. In that book, it talks about a traditional Japanese art, Wabi-Sabi. By keep reading at that, it gives me the inspiration on how I explore the minimalist art and architectural space design through the transformation. In this animation, I try to combine the ZEN concept in Wabi-Sabi to the 3D sculpture I make in C4D. The whole animation was talking about from a thought of regular form in design to asymmetry and simplicity, in the end, nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect. By doing this animation, Itry to use a new way to explore my design: design and explore the architectural concept through the movement in shape. 49
